A:AnswerMy old microwave had an exhaust vent going outside and this connected right into it. You could also use the self venting charcoal filter if you don’t vent outside.
A:AnswerCheck to be sure the ring w/wheels is underneath the glass plate. Also check to be sure the glass plate is properly set into the turning mechanism in the middle of the bottom shelf of the microwave. If that doesn’t work maybe call Samsung
A:AnswerYes, there are instructions here, starting on page 4, for exhausting out the back and the ductwork required.

A:AnswerHi Lmacek,
For information and availability of a replacement filter for your ME16H702SEB, please call 888-BEST BUY or 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to help. The charcoal filter is part #DE63-30016E, and the grease filters are part #DE63-00666A.
Thanks for the question,
Ms. Samsung
A:AnswerSounds defective to me. You have ONLY two weeks to return/exchange it at BestBuy from the date of delivery.. After that,,you must call Samsung under warranty which is usually a hassle.I would rush to exchange it at BB if you still have time. Also, you could request a prepaid return label from BB .It is bad that BB has only 14 days instead of 30 days return policy if you get a lemon. In such cases it is best to call BB customer service right away within the 14 days period..Good luck.Monika
A:Answeryes but it is easy to miss, it is bolted to the rear bottom of the microwave. remove bolts remove hanger reinstall bolts mount hanger on wall, very easy.
A:AnswerThanks for the question. It's fine to use the ME16H702SEW in an apartment as long as you're able to mount it according to the instructions. This involves drilling holes to attach bolts through the cabinet above the range, as well as attaching the mounting bracket to the wall behind it. The exhaust fan can be set up to recirculate filtered air back into the kitchen, so it isn't necessary to vent it to the outside.

A:AnswerHi Jnet,
Thanks for asking! We appreciate your query regarding your microwave. The mounting space for the bottom edge of the cabinet needs to be 30" or more from the cooking surface.
Have a great day.

A:AnswerGreat question, McSanch! To answer this, I have this link (https://bit.ly/2Ymf4Qv) to the installation manual for this model. Page 11 begins the section on connecting the ventilation system. ^Jecca
