A:AnswerHi Lee: If the light isn't coming out of the cable with one end plugged into the TV, then it's nothing to do with the HW-T540 soundbar. It's either a bad cable, or the TV isn't outputting the signal. There may be a setting in the TV where you have to enable the optical output instead of TV speakers. Samsung TVs have this feature. ^Patty
A:AnswerOnce I figured out the proper configuration of the optical cable connection with my Samsung HDTV... everything is working properly and the red light stopped shining. Maybe that red light is really a fault light? Anyway, I have no red light shining and everything is working great.

A:AnswerHi Mike: You can connect the HW-T450 soundbar with any TV as long as your TV has an optical port to connect your soundbar. The HW-T450 soundbar includes an optical cable. ^Patty
A:AnswerYes, I have an LG and this soundbar is connected to my TV. No additional wires needed unless you’re using USB or a AUX cable but it has Bluetooth so you normally won’t need either of those. Preferential though. And fairly easy to set up and connect.
A:AnswerHi Eric! You may connect to an external device, such as a record player, via a wired connection (optical cable) or Bluetooth connection to play the external device’s sound through the soundbar. ^Patty
A:AnswerI hooked this sound bar to my Samsung plasma TV. I got mine the last year they made plasma .
Can’t tell you for sure if it will work on your tv but if it works on mine, I would think it’ll work on yours.
This is the 2nd sound bar I’ve bought from Samsung. The other attached to my Panasonic plasma tv. No issues.
Good product at a good price point.
A:AnswerI haven't tried it with my projector but I don't see any not as long as you have all the right cords. I do know that you can only pair the bar with one device at a time using bluetooth.
A:AnswerYou can only pair to one device at a time using bluetooth. Not counting the subwoofer. Before pairing delete any other device it may be picking up first and any device you may have paired to previously. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerWhen the sound bar connected to power it should show display on the center of the bar , otherwise , the sound bar is broken and you could take it to best buy to check or replace or call Samsung USA
