- Answer Most likely, it would be a building code violation to vent indoors if installed. It really doesn’t operate as a stand alone, to my knowledge.

- Answer Yes, it can be converted to vent outside. We just had that microwave installed over our new stove and there was an extra piece the installer asked if we wanted to keep even though he said we wouldn’t need it. I asked him what it was for, and he said it was for venting the microwave to the outside. Ours is against an interior wall, so we obviously would never have need for that piece.

QuestionI’ve had this microwave for exactly two years and heating element keeps going out. Is there anything we can do since it’s passed the year mark for warranty without having to pay $400-500 for a new one?

- Answer I have a slightly older model but found it very frustrating to set the clock. Here’s how, assuming your model is very similar: -Press and hold the clock icon under ‘Power level’ on the control panel for 3 seconds (the time display will start flashing) -Enter the time in hours and minutes on the number pad -Press ‘Power level’ once for AM, twice for PM -Press ‘Start’ to set and finish Hope this helps.

- Answer Not zero swing if you mean the door only opens to 90 degrees. The subcontractors added an extra piece to allow the door to open fully.

- Answer If you mean that it stops after a minute and asks for power levels, it’s not functioning correctly. I hope it’s still under warranty because you have a claim.

- Answer Pebbles, you can do it. Have someone chisel out a big hole above the double oven. Your MW vent has options to go different ways. A pro installer from local Bedrock could work it... I like your style! (Always have!) Bamm-Bamm
