QuestionDoes this have a pedestal with storage?

- Answer It doesn’t come with pedestal but this unit is taller than my last washer. The top load lid flips up so you will need good height on your cabinets above. The pedestal would make it even taller. I do have to kneel down to load the main drum but it’s not too bad as you pick up the small washer in top.

QuestionHow far from the bottom of the unit is the base of the door opening? I am tall and trying to determine how far I will be bending over to load/unload vs. the front loaders I have now that are on pedestals

QuestionDoes this washer, wash mixed loads and stay balanced? Can it wash throw rugs and stay balanced? Current washer has to have jeans with jeans, tshirts with tshirt, towels with towels, etc... I'm one person and it's impossible to build up laundry.

- Answer we miss our loads quite often. We love this washer and the dryer also. Great thing with Best Buy is the if you don't like it yo can return it within 60 days I believe. I love Best Buy and their policies. I ALWAYS buy the extended warranty for everything also. I just put in my washable carpet tuner with a few clothes and it washes fine. Sheets are not so simple torahs with other things because they get tangled up but that is with any washer.

Regarding your concern, for the best cleaning results, use a high-efficiency detergent such as Tide HE, Wisk HE, Cheer HE or Gain HE*. High-efficiency detergents contain suds suppressors that reduce or eliminate suds. When fewer suds are produced, the load tumbles more efficiently, and cleaning is maximized. I suggest you check this link to your user manual for assistance. QuestionDoes the washer dispense pure hot water in Normal cycle? Seems like a silly question, but my existing H.E Samsung only dispenses Luke warm water even though it's set to Hot! Hot tap water is only in the steam cycle 2 hrs. I really dislike this limitation

- Answer Hi DC, We are happy to answer your question about this Samsung washing machine. Yes and no. Since this washing machine model has an upper and lower washer, the upper washer can only provide warm temperatures while the lower washer can accommodate up to extra hot temperatures on 4 cycles (normal, heavy duty, steam sanitize, and self-clean+). For this washer to operate properly with its temperature setting, ensure your water heater is set to supply hot water with a minimum temperature of 120 °F (49 °C) at the tap. Also, check the water heater capacity and recovery rate as these will affect the temperature that comes out of the lower washer. Leo

QuestionThe owner's manual has two different instructions to add the HE detergent. On one note, it says to add the recommended amount detergent to the A compartment and, the note at the bottom recommends to add 2/3 of detergent to the main drum. Which is correct?

- Answer Hi Detergent. Thank you for reaching out regarding your Samsung - 6.0 cu. ft. Total Capacity Smart Dial Washer with FlexWash™ and SuperSpeed Wash on how to add the detergent. Regarding your concern, there would be the steps. To apply cleaning agents to the upper washer: 1. Open the top door, and then the protective cover. Remove the Aqua Pebble from the fabric softener container. 2. Put a recommended amount of liquid or powdered detergent into the provided Aqua Pebble. The Aqua Pebble has a guideline (marked ‘20 ml’) near its top, which is the max line. Do not exceed the max line. 3. Insert the Aqua Pebble around the center of the tub, and then put the laundry over the Aqua Pebble. 4. Add a recommended amount of fabric softener to the softener compartment. Do not exceed the max line. 5. Add a recommended amount of non-chlorine bleach to the bleach compartment. Use caution not to overfill the compartment. 6. Close the protective cover, and then the top door. I suggest if you wish to use a pedestal you may want to get our front load washer and dryer. Please do check this link To apply cleaning agents to the lower washer 1. Open the top-front cover. 2. Add a recommended amount of liquid or powdered detergent to the detergent compartment. Do not exceed the max line. 3. Add a recommended amount of fabric softener to the softener compartment. Do not exceed the max line. 4. QuestionIs the control board out of stock for all Samsung models? I have to replace my washer because this part is discontinued and I don't want to buy another Samsung if the same part is discontinued for it in case the same issue occurs.

- Answer They do have separate pedestal for sale that is made by Samsung, however it cost about $125 to $150 per pedestal, and the added height is not by much (I don't have the figure, but you can search the item on Best Buy as they sell it as well). In my opinion, it's not worth the money.
