QuestionI purchased this same dryer for some reason when drying clothes it’s just stops after maybe 5 mins I keep having to go turn it on. This dryer is brand new it should not take me a whole day to dry my clothes and upset customer

QuestionI just bought this. I have an older home that has a 3 prong wall connection outlet. Can a 3 prong cord be compatible with this? I called Samsung they keep telling me only 4 prong, so i am worried.

- Answer I already purchased the dryer a while ago and was wanting to try and get the energy star rebate. It's working great so far. only complaint is I wish the bottom of the door was higher so it would go over a normal clothes basket without hitting it.

QuestionI tried the bedding function and have questions whether these are normal: 1. Does this cycle take much longer than normal cycle? 2. The water filled up the tub another round at the spin phase (see photo) 3. The timing keep adding as it runs the cycle.

QuestionI’ve had my dryer installed for about a week now. I don’t know why it shuts off after 5 minutes of it being on. This only started happening with a comforter. The dryer vent was cleaned out prior to install & lint cleaned out after every use. What’s wrong?

- Answer It has the SMART SENSOR type of technology on it. It probably thinks the comforter is dry. Not sure if there is a way to correct that.

QuestionIs it normal for this dryer to take FOREVER to dry a load. I will put the load on very dry heavy duty, high... it will say 1 hrs 7 minutes or so, and then like 2 hrs later it it still going and the clothes are not dry. I'm extremely disappointed right now

- Answer Not sure if this will help you at all, but for my set, I have to press and hold the "dry level" button for 3 seconds. That turns my sound is off. And I do the same process to turn it back on.

QuestionHow many 90 degree turns can be in the vent to the outside? What is the maximum feet can be in the venting system? I've heard that there can be problems with air flow to various models because of these issues.

- Answer It is better to have a straight shot for any dryer vent going outside of the home. 90 Degree bends tend to hinder air flow as well and potentially trap lint. Of course the shorter the distance the better the flow as well. Generally the home design will allow for the better placement of these appliances so that there are no major issues with this.
