- Answer Xbox says you can connect up to 3 external drives at once. I think you may be asking if you can daisy chain them using the external drives USB. If so I haven't tried that yet but I doubt it because I think the hubs on the external drives are only USB 2.0.

QuestionCan you put movies and music on this drive along with my games. I have a 1TB xbox game drive for my games and another 1 TB external with my movies and music. It would be nice to have everything on one drive.

- Answer Yes, you can use it for both, with one caveat. You would have to partition the drive with your computer and essentially split the hard disk into two individual drives. You then format one partition for media compatibility and the other for gaming. The physical disk would still be a single unit, but when the computer identifies it, it will see two hard drives. You will then need to tell it which one. If you are using a PC and utilize Disk Manager, you can name the partitions "Movies" and the other "Xbox games".

- Answer If you have a personal account with Xbox (Windows) then those game are yours forever. It will be a pain, but you can always just download the games for free, again, especially if you still have a hard copy of the game, or did a digital download. You can also backup the drive itself to a Windows PC attached to the Xbox itself..

- Answer It will play games from the drive but it will run a little slower. My advice is to transfer the game on to the system to play the game and when you’re done with the game transfer it back to the drive.

QuestionWill this work on Xbox series S?

- Answer Yes* - However, you won't be able to play Series S games off of the drive directly. You could use it as a way to keep games locally without needing to download them again from the internet. So you could start by installing the game on the internal SSD initially, then move it to this external when you're done playing or want more space--but when you want to play the game again, just move it from external back to internal. This should potentially save you time versus downloading the game over the internet again. - You can use it without a problem to play games from previous generation Xbox consoles (Xbox, 360, One).

- Answer That I am not sure. I own xbox one and ps4 and I believe this one is for xbox 360 and xbox one. Best Buy does carry a 2gb and 4gb seagate that I do own as well but it states on the box for ps4 only so I recommend ordering the 2gb or 4gb seagate dedicated for ps4.

- Answer This is pre-formatted for X-Box. You need to plug it into a PC ...delete the Volume ..then create an active volume for PC ....then format it. Then plug it into PS4

QuestionAnybody know why the hd light goes on and off when the xbox is turned off. It even does it in the morning when the last time I played would be the night before.

- Answer Your Xbox power settings are set so your Xbox can download game/system updates when you ‘turn it off’. If you change the power settings, you will ‘disable’ the hard drive light when powered off, however your console won’t auto update if you do this

- Answer you can use any external hard drive as long as it is usb 3.0 no matter what size; i have 2 8tb drives hooked to mine i'm going to upgrade to the 10tb hard drives soon.

- Answer Yes, drive is compatible with either system. Please note that the drive needs to be formatted before it can be used with a system, making it to where it can only be used as an either / or storage. If you're using it for your Xbox but then want to use it for your PS, the drive needs to have all existing data and Xbox memory wiped before it can be used with the PS.
