- Answer If one device is streaming the content over wifi then any device on the network that senses the stream will be able to interact with it. This was verified with three android devices while using soundcloud on one.

- Answer I don't know your particular setup, but I do have 7 speakers plus subwoofer all connected and working together at the same time (front L/R, center, back L/R, atmos L/R, sub).

- Answer Hi Chris, you may either hook up your Apple TV to this receiver or directly to the TV. AirPlay works like Bluetooth, simply pair your device (iPhone, iPad, iPod or in an iTunes Library on your computer) to the receiver via AirPlay to enjoy audio content. QuestionMy old receiver let me select an HDMI input that would pass through the receiver when it is turned off? This is nice when you want to watch TV and just use the Tv's speakers. Does this receiver support passing through an input when it is turned off?

- Answer I believe so. I have my Samsung UN65JS8500 connected to it by way of the HDMI ARC. If I turn the TV on by itself, then I only have TV sound. When I change the speaker input on the TV to RCV, then I get the RCV sound instead of the TV speakers.

- Answer Hi Scootymac, The HDMI labeled as ARC on the TV is the one where the receiver should be connected. No need to connect an optical cable to the TV or receiver as long as the cable box is plugged into the receiver via HDMI or component cables. QuestionCan this unit be setup to run all HDMIs input to the tv and run a digital optical cord from tv to the unit? I don't want to pass through the unit for video.

- Answer Yes. You can use optical, or HDMI. Just run an HDMI out from the receiver to the TV, and set the receiver to the "TV" input. If you're using a Sony TV connect the ARC out from the receiver to the ARC in on the TV. It will allow for the signal to pass both directions. Either way the receiver can handle the setup you're looking for.

QuestionThis is connected to a Sony XBR65X900E 4K TV and I can't pass a signal when using active 18Gbps HDMI cables. It works fine if I use my old passive 10.2Gbps HDMI cables, but those won't pass 4K and HDR content. Are active HDMI cables a known issue?

- Answer Active HDMI cables will work fine. Just remember that they are not bidirectional. One end should read "Source", and the other end should say "TV". It should work if properly connected.
