Basically, no, you don't need any cable (but the power cord), the internet connection is wireless (or wired as you prefer), to watch movies, the A90K includes Play Store, where you can download all the streaming apps that you need. If you want to watch something from a different source, like Cable Box, Apple Box, Roku, etc. Therefore, yes, you will need an HDMI cable, but if you will only watch streaming apps, you don't need more, just Wi-Fi and your great A90K!
