QuestionCan I use my 1970-80s era Minolta SLR lens with this camera? I know Sony bought out Minolta. So do the Minolta bayonet lens work on this Sony?

- Answer This is an e-mount lens. There are a variety of adapters on the market. I used an adapter for canon fd and it works fine, but you don't get to use the automatic features of the camera.

QuestionHow is this camera against dust damage, or water damage? I had a lesser Sony that I loved, but it got ruined, probably dust . So I bought a “ tough” camera for my bicycle rides, but want a better camera for photos not from the bicycle, thanks, Klausviola

- Answer The a7iii will be far better for sports because of its auto focus and higher shutter speed. But there are people who still use the a7ii for sports professionally. It’s just older tech

- Answer Many full frame more professional cameras do not have an on-board flash… because on-board flash’ are awful, any pro will tell you that. If you’re into night shooting spend the money and get a nice external flash. The song mirrorless sensor has incredible night shooting capability without flash, as the sensor is super low noise even at high ISO. — If you’re familiar with shooting manually you should be able to get some decent night shots without a flash, otherwise it’s worth picking up an external flash

- Answer You can type in Sony A-7 II vs Nikon 7500 and click on the Cameradecision site and see a complete side by side comparison. You can do this for any number of cameras. You'll see weaknesses and strengths and then you decide what features do you want. if you want 1 that supports HDR pick 1 that has it or read about if it's something you really need in a camera. Do the research and then you can make an informed decision.
