A:AnswerI can't answer the specific question about am/fm. I bought the Sony for the phono input which other amplifiers don't include. I suspect a tuner could be coupled up as there are inputs on the back of the Sony for various devices. Hope that helps.

There is no option inside the AMP MENU to adjust the loudness. But, there is a dedicated volume adjustment buttons on the remote control.
