A:AnswerDepends how the receiver is connected to the tv. Are you using "ARC" from the tv? if so then you should check the tv for audio output settings. My Sony tv has an option for normalizing audio settings. If you're noting using an arc then the sound settings need to be adjusted on the device you get tv from.
A:AnswerCheck 4 right inputs and outputs then check 4 tv sound settings and tuner settings then if u have amp 4 speakers check those settings as well most likely tv settings
A:AnswerCheck and make sure you don't have sleep enabled. I did this once while playing some games with a friend and the power would cut out every 30 min. If that's not the problem then more then likely you have a short in the wiring to the speakers, this will cause the overload sensor to trip and protect the receiver from shorting permanently.
A:AnswerThere should be no problem, I have my turntable hooked up and have to use an external preamp. The issue you may have is what inputs you have available. I ran all my other devices using hdmi so the input for tv was available. I plugged the RCA cables from the preamp into the tv input and use the tv button on the remote to listen to vinyl. You do have to turn the Sony on by not using a remote that turns the tv on at the same time. I have my Xfinity remote synced so both tv and Sony come on at the same time.
A:AnswerHello Dave, if you are using a Sony TV, you may adjust it on the sound settings. However, if you're not using a Sony TV, we recommend contacting the manufacturer for further assistance. For more information, kindly refer to the link below:

A:AnswerI just had a good conversation regarding using a sound bar with a an amplified receiver. The reason they are incompatible made sense. Simply put, you'd be using an amplified sound system to try and amplify an already amplified signal. When an audio signal is received (by your receiver) it is processed and then amplified and sent out on five different channels (+1) to your various speakers. Unless your unit supports a direct multichannel unamplified line out (which the STRH-590 doesn't), you wouldn't be able to process the signal on a sound bar (which also wants to amplify and separate the raw signal), which is why that doesn't work.
As to the wireless remote speakers, it may depend on type (powered or unpowered) signal requirements, or other characteristics of the speakers. Several of the speaker sets I've looked at recently act as an AV amplifier similar to a sound bar and provide the distribution and amplification inherent to the speakers. Not sure what you have but hope this helps.
A:Answeryes it is still 145 watts. better to use higher gauge wiring though, as the unit may overheat driving so much power through two speakers. in fact, the manual recommends it.
A:AnswerFirst we tried an Onkio receiver. It wouldn’t let us use the HDMI hookup. We returned it for the Sony. Set up was way easier. Use the best hdmi cables. We also purchased Samsung Qled 6 TV so the concern was digital to analog. This receiver did the job. It was also less expensive.
A:AnswerThe Bluetooth on the receiver is input only; the receiver receives the bluetooth signal from your smartphone or device. You'll have to use a phone cable from receiver to your headphones. A solution would be to use a phone plug-in Bluetooth transmitter, if there is such a device.
A:AnswerIf your old speakers connect using standard speaker wire then they will work. The subwoofers connect with a standard subwoofer cable. You can connect either 1 or 2 to this unit.
A:AnswerHi prime,
Yes, you can hook up your subwoofer to this receiver. You can connect this AV Receiver to your TV using HDMI cable.
