A:AnswerMy cabin is in northern Wisconsin. I had 0 bars inside my cabin that has a metal roof and I was lucky to get one bar outside. I used a app called OpenSignal and it will point you in the direction of your strongest signal. I mounted the Weboost antenna on a pole about 25 feet high and pointed it in the direction the app pointed to. I have 4G when close to the internal antenna and 3G on the front porch which is about 15 feet from the internal antenna. When I made my first call it sounded like the person was in the same room. My cellular service is Verizon and not sure if that will make any difference. I hope this helps.
A:AnswerWe took this to a campground & used it inside a cabin: it worked great! ... I don't know if you should use it like that long term, though... It is pretty strong & I would wonder if exposure that close would be a good idea.
A:AnswerThank you for your question. The panel antenna that comes with the unit is weather proof and can be placed outside. From there you will have cable running into the internal booster. After that there is a short run of cable to a desktop antenna and this is where you will receive your broadcast signal. A:AnswerWhen I bought mine I asked the store the same question. I was told I would have no problems if I needed to return it. Now that being said after I installed it, I went from no service to full bars.
A:AnswerIt depends. The antenna comes with a holder with suction cups that allow you to attach it to the inside of a window. If you have a window that faces in a direction that receives a cellular signal from your cellular provider's tower, then this unit will boost your signal. Probably not as much as if it was mounted outside.
A:AnswerNothing extra needed. Follow instructions for finding best signal location. Mount, connect, and enjoy. Does not connect to any other external devices (routers, modems, etc) other than what comes in the box.
A:AnswerThank you for reaching out to us. We would like to have you to reach out to us at 866-294-1660 or here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. We will be able to help you with a recommendation for your area. One note is that if you do not have any signal outside your home or are not able to make any calls outside your home/building, our boosters will not function. We do need a little signal in the area in order for our boosters to work.
A:AnswerYes it will. They sell coaxial boosters, that may help. Mine came with 2 30’ cables and I needed both. I have very good reception. I did recently put a pole in for my tv antenna and added my recieved to that and the extra height helped.
A:AnswerI spend time in rural/mountainous western NC. Cable company refuses to extend service to us. The only company with any kind of cell signal is Verizon. I was getting 1 bar (sometimes 3G, sometimes 4G). Text was OK, voice was lousy and required you to stand outside on a corner of a porch, and data/email with attachments/video/web browsing required a trip downtown. Installed the antenna outside on the porch, put the inside antenna in the kitchen, and I get 2 or 3 bar 4G LTE signal inside and outside. The elimination of daily frustration is worth the high cost of the unit. It boosts a weak/marginal cell signal to acceptable levels.
A:AnswerYes,that is the same situation Y I bought it. I am in VERY RURAL MS, and cell towers are few and far between in the poorest state in the country! And.it uses little power so, yes, a generator has no prob ! I went to electronics school; I know about such things!
A:AnswerCan't say if its the right product for you but can give you my impressions of the product. I live in a smaller house and mostly confine my use to one or two rooms. I also have Verizon and use a jet pack. the hardest part of installation is choosing a location to mount the external antenna. they say the best place is to mount it on the roof as the antenna needs to face in the direction of the nearest cell tower. I have no place on the roof for mounting but found I could mount the antenna on my back deck railing and face the nearest cell tower. If you want to boost the signal for the whole house my best guess is you will need a stronger whole house booster and not one for just one or two rooms. Best advice is to check their product guide and installation guide to see what would work best for your situation.
A:AnswerThank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not recommend our products for use in the Philippines at this time. The frequencies in the area are ones we cannot fully support. For additional questions, you can reach out to us here:

A:AnswerI use mine with an RV at various locations. This particular model is not designed to be moved around easily due to the mounting equipment provided, but it can be done. I just use zip ties where ever I go vs the screws and brackets.
A:AnswerYes it will work great. Be sure to find out where you closest version tower is and follow the instructions on proper placement. You will be happily surprised at how well it works. I have had mine for 4 years and very satisfied.
A:AnswerNo you do not just make sure you follow the directions I had to put me be up on a pole I built for best service I went from no service to full service
A:AnswerIt works great where I am. Down in a valley between hills in ky. We had 1-2 bars outside and 0 inside the house. Put one of these in and now have 3-5 bars inside.
A:AnswerWe have used it with ATT & T-Mobile cells: it worked great for both cell service & cell Internet (including hotspots) on both of those. We don't have any experience with Verizon.
