• A:Answer 5.1= five speakers and 1 sub 5.2 = five speakers and 2 subs I run a 5.2 the multi subwoofer adds a dynamic that one cannot do and you can hide them because you can use smaller subs

• A:Answer This receiver should be able to power your Klipsch speakers. There is not a phono input, so you will need to purchase a magnetic phono cartridge preamplifier and plug it into an auxiliary input. You can find the preamplifiers on Amazon.

• A:Answer No only controls one zone. Can try to splice speakers together but will not be able to play different audio; all will play same audio. There is the 7.2 channel that offers 2 zones.

• A:Answer Yes it will. You can adjust impedence (it should be on 8 ohms by default.) in the menu which will show up on your TV as long as you have it connected through hdmi arc. You will have no problem.

Q: QuestionDoes it matter if you plug your HDMI connections (Cable-BluRay-ROKU) directly into the Receiver or should they be plugged directly into the Display\TV when using an eARC connection? Does that effect the uncompressed audio?

• A:Answer Yes. Ideally, run all of your media devices through the receiver. While the most recent iteration of eARC will support most digital formats and drive 5.1 surround with no problem, you will not be able to play high bitrate formats like DTS:X or Dolby Atmos. Additionally, many TVs (especially ones a couple years old or more) downgrade the audio signal being sent through eARC. All of these problems are solved by running all of your devices through the receiver and letting the receiver function as a tuner. This is really what it is designed to do and it does it well. Save eARC for if you stream content from built-in software in the TV and therefore cannot run that signal through the receiver (like a RokuTV or similar).
