Out of the box, it had good picture quality for the price (except for some brightness around the edges). Well, after 7 months of occasional use in my spare home office, it failed. Regardless of whether it was hooked up using different HDMI cables or to different laptops, the picture was a jumble of gray lines. Save your money. This model does not live up to Samsung's usual level of quality.
