At the time, it looked like a great deal, almost too good to be true. 200 dollars for 1440p display, 165hz, HDR(lol), equalizer and it’s a pretty big display (32 inches). For a first few honey moon days, everything was basically perfect. Coming from 1080p displays, the bump up in clarity was phenomenal. You barely see aliasing and since the screen is big AND the resolution is quite high, you don’t really see pixelation. That’s where it basically stops though. The glaring issue that almost made me return the product is the biggest image blur (some call it black smear) I have ever seen in my life. I swapped from using ASUS 24, 144 and a Zowie 27, 240 hz monitors. Playing anything on lowest black equalizer is almost unplayable. You only see motion blur and it’s so bad in dark areas, horror games are the most susceptible to this. You can try to remedy this by simply cranking the black equalizer up by 10 or more. By doing so the colors are washed out, you start to see LED bleed through the black colors. It is such a hard trade off, you’ll find yourself hard pressed to even determine which is a better choice. In the end, I can not recommend this monitor to anyone unless you are willing to deal with the black smears or have terrible contrast to color which by then just get an IPS panel. I am only keeping the monitor because I’m too lazy to a fault. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS.
