1 - Purchase.
The purchase process was the same as usual, except that there was no pickup option — only delivery by the supplier.
2 - Delivery.
Delivery took about two weeks. The packaging definitely needs to be better.
The box was dented on all sides; I was even worried the monitor might be broken, but fortunately, the panel was intact. However, the plastic cover on the stand was detached, and the mounting points where it was screwed in were broken. The plastic frame around the panel had also come loose almost all the way around. I managed to snap it back into place because, luckily, the frame clips were ok.
The package did not include the LED backlight strips, only three wires for connecting them. In some versions, these strips are optional, but judging by reviews, this particular model should include them.
The remote control included in the package doesn’t work, though since I use it as a PC monitor, that’s not a big issue for me.
3 - The monitor uses a VA panel, which is fine for me, but those used to IPS may not like the colors and viewing angles. However, it’s worth noting that this is a high-end VA panel, and most typical VA issues are minimized here. The monitor is large — very large. Sitting at a short distance, it almost appears convex. I wasn’t able to get it to run at more than 60 Hz in 4K; even with a high-quality DP cable, a moiré pattern appears around text at frequencies above 60 Hz, and it becomes more noticeable as the refresh rate increases.
As I understand it, proper 4K operation at 120 Hz requires using two cables, which my graphics card doesn’t support.
Overall, it’s a good monitor for a reasonable price. The only real downside is the poor packaging, which doesn’t adequately protect the monitor during shipping.
