I really like the Blink outdoor cameras. I have 3 of the original models and 2 of the newer ones. Pros: Good battery life (about 1.5 years with motion around 2-3 times a day). Good image quality during the day; average at night. Newer model can announce motion over Alexa. Newer model sends notification at the start of recording. I'm using a new one at my front door in place of a video door bell. It works well for this purpose. Waiting until Blink releases their video doorbell...come on Amazon, release it already! It's been two years! Cons: The Activity Zone feature is useless! Blocking out areas for detection seems to do nothing. Night vision could be better. Lately, there has been a delay (as much as 15 minutes) in notification IF I'm away from the house. When I'm home, both phone and Alexa will get notifications instantly.

Purchase this to minimalize any drilling through my wall, setup was easy and painless, able to see live view ( few second and message will come up to continue), 1 way audio for listen outside,battery wise so far after installed it has been good, i setup as factory setting without changing anything because i'd like to see how this goes. I give this a shot because of simplicity of it, it covered my house with no problem( viewing 110 degree), night vision i would say i'm happy with it compared with Funlux Wireless IP Camera that i use before.

Wireless, easy to install. If being used inside you can plug them in. Batteries last a long time unless you have a high traffic area. The birds ran the batteries down on one so I will move it which is easy to do.

Extremely easy to set up and mount. The app is very intuitive and only needed common batteries (vs camera batteries) is a huge benefit. Overall very happy and will buy more when the need arises!

Purchased a Blink 2 camera system directly before BestBuy was a seller. Adding an additional camera is super easy (so is initial system set up of system). Quality video even in the dark (infrared) if movement is detected. No reoccurring cost associated with the app and/or cloud storage of video. I personally have no complaints in regards to battery life.

I already had a Blinx XT system, so getting an add-on camera was a good call when the price dropped to $72 + including a free Echo Dot v3. The video quality is good, free rolling cloud storage is nice, and battery-native device makes it easy to position this guy anywhere. One painful thing is you can't view the camera while it's recording (you get a "camera is busy" message). Not bad, but also not the greatest out there.

For its price, real good quality. Easy installation , battery last more than I expected. Very good night vision.

This is my second Blink camera and they work great in locations where it is impossible to run wires for another type of camera. I have found batteries to last long enough and even replacing them once a year is not too much for me but I run longer than minimum video clips. Quality of video is great, even when viewing it on a larger computer screen. Highly recommended and I'll get at least one more when next location to monitor is decided.

The Blink cameras and sync module do a reasonably good job of detecting and alerting motion. The feature to set motion zones in the app is helpful and reduces (but does not eliminate) false-positive motion detection. The live view and thumbnail functions do not work 100% of the time, although standard motion detection seems to work fine in normal and low light.

I have 9 Blink cameras all around my house. They have been running for over 2 years now. I've had to replace the batteries a couple of times (just use standard AA), but that's because they go off a lot. For the money, you can't go wrong with these. They are always developing the App and functionality of the cameras. You can now set the zones in the frame that you don't want active. I have one camera facing the street, but the camera ignores cars that drive by. Amazon now owns this company, so they also work well with Alexa and the Fire Stick. You just ask Alexa on the fire stick to show you which camera and it displays on your TV. Love these things.

Bought this with the three camera set, camera very clear pic, from daytime to night vision , although picks up the slightest movement, you have to adjust them to the perfect setting, once adjusted they are terrific!!

Overall, I’m happy with these, but there are some considerations and flaws/failures. One of them stopped registering movement/faulty motion detector after a week. They eat batteries like crazy, and when I purchased extended cables to keep them charged, I found that the included mount prevented them being plugged in, thus new/specialty mounts had to be purchased. Finally, the camera will sometimes revert to factory settings, rather than what I have programmed (length of clip, reset time, etc) which - in my case - kept me from seeing where a potential motorcycle thief came from (direction, vehicle, etc). On the plus side, they are very clear, really responsive to motion (when functioning) and pick up sound incredibly well.

I set it up by myself and I am no electronic wizard, the have great clarity and sound, I would highly recommend this product for beginners or pros, Perfect for our needs

We are very happy with these portable cameras. Great, clear video. Make sure you use Energizer Lithium batteries for best results.

I never had any issues with these cameras. Good picture quality. I like it because it's wireless

The Blink XT is an excellent Home Security Camera! It's reasonably priced, the quality is great and the set-up is so easy! I highly recommend this system!

Love this camera. I added it in to my existing one. Very easy to use and set up. Works great. Runs on batteries. I love it.

I have a couple of these cameras and I love them! Great quality and they run in AA batteries so they are inexpensive to run.

Long life battery. Great night vision. Temperature reading saved me from frozen pipes when my furnace broke at my other home

I love these little cameras. They work great. I wish I could edit the coverage area better so they weren't so sensitive to traffic but overall they are great.
