Powerful software, huge footprint

They did make it somewhat easier this go round. Takes up a lot of real estate on a hard drive. Several new features have been added that makes for a nice program for those that have been previous Photoshop users.

Easily burn to a DVD which many applications no longer provide. Special effects are outstanding and livens up my home movies. Glad I went with Adobe on this one.

It's a huge leap ( but still very user friendly) if you use windows and better but comparable to iMovie. My favorite thing about this product is that it's not subscription based. Adobe lost me as a long time customer a few years ago when they switched to that model. I could due without all the social features and would much rather have upgraded video editing capability, however elements is meant for the non professional and keeps things easy. As always Adobe does a good job. Just make sure you have room on your hard drive

The process is still time consuming even for basic movies and to make things look really good, there is a lot of time and effort involved. If you have the time and the aptitude, you can make nice looking movie slideshows from your photos and video clips. Overall, I think this software is just average.
