This unit is nice and small to add to any setup. I just needed a few more USB and HDMI connections, and this did the trick. The only down side I had was the HDMI from one of my monitors was not recognized. After swapping things around to have that monitor directly to the laptop, it worked alright. This DOES work for charging items! It's a plus I wasn't expecting.

This type-C Docking station is perfect for my MacBook Air retina 2018. A portable device that has all you need to access all your sim cards. I highly recommend this product and for the price it a great buy and an excellent gadget to have two thumbs up!

I bought this for my laptop which has USB Type-C ports (only 2). This docking station allows me to connect multiple types of devices using the USB Type-C port. I particularly like that it has SD card inputs, as well as HDMI (and of course traditional USB ports). It is well made and does the job it was intended for.

I purchased this great little USB-C port as part of a recent deal of the day. I was amazed at how well built this device is. Solid CNC aluminum case that will survive well in my brief case. It works seamlessly with both my Mac and Windows laptops. But with confidence.

I was struggling to find a dock that would work with my MacBook Pro, until I came across this one. It's affordable, has a variety of my most commonly used ports, and it doesn't sit flush against my device so I can use it despite having a clear case on my MacBook. The color is almost identical to my space gray laptop too and that's always a bonus!

Looked a little too expensive, but once it arrived the price was justified because the build quality is SPECTACULAR. When handling it feels great and also looks sleek. It's also small enough to mount on the back of my laptop, the SD and Micro SD ports are also a plus. Overall this is a satisfying product and would definitely recommend it.

Works as expected, adds the 2 extra usb spots for my mouse, and memory card. On downside is the cord is so short it makes it awkward to keep it plugged in while using on anything other than a desk or table. seems to be made of high quality and feels durable.

I struggled with finding an adapter that would work without me needing to remove my laptop case. It’s a hassle to take the case on and off, and I wanted it on for protection. This works perfectly! It functions well and causes no issues with the laptop case.

This is a simple and sleek hub but has every port I need for my 16: MacBook Pro. Fits in bag great and the space grey color matches great with my space grey MacBook. I have used it on my iPad Pro also, but I did buy another one with power pass-through for my iPad, but this one does work with it.

Works perfectly! I have used this to watch programming on my TV from my MacBook and it works well. That it's multimedia is a big plus for me. It's compact and easily portable without being too small that you might lose it easily.

Simple to use, excellent choice of devices that will connect. A must have for when Apple decides to make everybody buy something new to connect their old devices.

I am glad I waited to get a docking station for my macbook air, this came up on Best Buys deal of the day so I snagged it at a great price and it's super functional. The matching color is a plus as well.

Bought it for MacBook Pro, matches Space Gray color, great compact design. Only complaint is that it gets hot, but I think most get hot while in heavy use. Happy with purchase.

I purchased this HUB primarly to use the HDMI through the USB C port. It turns out that the C port on my computer is not able to process video so the HDMI port on the HUB did not work (through no fault of its own). It is a very high quality hub but check your computers capability before buying it for the HDMI adapter.

We needed something to connect a MacBook Pro to a TV and this works perfect. Feels high quality, plugged in and worked right away. Perfect solution to our problem.

Works great! Using this to play my iPad on a tv that won't play my cable providers app. Fairly inexpensive, small, and gives so many options for use.

I purchased the item to connect a tablet to a TV. Has worked great for that purpose. The other ports are an added bonus.

My very thin laptop has limited ports; only one USB port. This adds two much-needed USB ports and standard SD card input, as well as an HDMI port. My only wish is for an ethernet hub. I wonder if this station will also work with my thunderbolt 3 port since it fits perfectly - but I'm afraid to experiment! I couldn't find documentation to answer that question.

I have a HP Spectre with one USB 3.1 port and one USB type C. The Aluratek USB Type-C Hub expands USB 3.1 ports to two additional ports; it adds a HDMI port so I can connect to a TV or monitor; and it has SD card reader slots. The product has worked perfectly; plug and play!
