I bought this for a friend but when i tried to set it up for him it did not recognize his amazon account because he did not have one. I set him up with one and then tried to get him on Alexa. No immediate luck. I still presume it will work when i try again. Meanwhile i purchased one earlier for myself and it was very easy to set up. The only issue is sometimes the sound is lower than i like for a YouTube show (while the commercials are loud). However if you crank it up the sound can be extremely loud as it does have a strong speaker. Overall it is a nice size, great price, great quality and i would buy it again. If you have an Alexa app and Amazon account you will be in good shape and it will be easy to set up.

Bought for my kids to easily connect with me and each other. So much better than talking on facetime. Downside is you can only call people who have the device. How do you find out which of your friends have it? It is also handy for looking up things, making lists, asking questions. I'm still discovering different ways to use device. I like that you can shut the camera off when not using. I wish it came with a manual.

Bought this unit primarily to display multiple Blink and Ring cameras. Works great in displaying up to four cameras simultaneously. Started using to access music and news and other apps. I was skeptical at first using such a voice activated device for security concerns and are careful of when powered on as to the voice commands I use. Some ads can be annoying but otherwise this is a great product.

Super fast shipping of a great product. I use the Echo Show to run automations (lights on/off, door locked/unlocked, garage door open/close, etc), to listen to music and podcasts, check the weather, set alarms, and view my doorbell and wireless cameras. The touch screen is nice and the screen itself is great for watching streaming services or YouTube videos. Set up takes 3 minutes out of the box.

I use it daily when I work from home! Great size screen for a desk setup. I watch my news in the morning, and jam out to music during the afternoon. Its a great tool for setting reminders and timers! I recommend it, only downside is that it doesn't allow the possibility to watch HBO or Disney Plus. In reality, not the biggest deal, Amazon Prime, Netflix and Hulu is support. In my experience Hulu is a hit or miss; mostly a miss most shows experience an issue when I try to watch a show and bugs out the application. I'm sure there will be a big patch that can fix it.

Wonderful speakers, the quality of the speakers were very nice especially when listening to music, but I mainly got it to review my security cameras and it’s so easy to connect and see everything.

Bought this to replace my old 5" screen echo in the kitchen. 8" screen is a great change - I can actually see the pictures on the screen! I'm having a problem making this my "Master" device over the other show and 2 dots in the house. Probably user error. At any rate, I like the features of the Show and paln to incorporate a Ring doorbell into the mix

I love it , I was able to connect my TV and lights to automate the house and Alexa also plays music from my Spotify per my request.

Bought for my 96-year old Dad and he loved the display of family photos and the ability to get all his news and information by simply asking Alexa.

The size is decent. It allows you to usw the screen for simple tasks but the voice recognition alone is very useful.

I’m very happy with my new Alexa+!! The voice I programmed sounds so casual, as if I’m speaking to an actual person. The sound quality is great! I absolutely love it.

I have really enjoyed this more than I thought that I would. It has so many more features on it than what I realized my mom who does not have one of these downloaded Alexa on her iPhone and she is now able to use the drop-in feature and video chat through the echo show eight using her iPhone to talk to her autistic great grandson. My grandson loves it. He feels like he’s having video chat like he’s having zoom meetings. He really enjoys anything video again he is autistic so having this echo show eight and his bedroom and being able to drop in and talk to him when I’m cooking when he’s playing his Xbox and just having an extra line of communication and interaction has been calming For him I would really recommend this product to anyone with or without children

This is a great addition to my home. Even though it's not a smart home, I get a lot of use from my Echo Show 8. I have it on my kitchen counter and watch "TV" while I cook and I watch the news during dinner. The picture and sound are crystal clear. I highly recommend it! The set up is a breeze!!

I believe this is a good upgrade compared to the dot comparisons of devices and it is a bit of a learning curve.But a if you just want it to be used for music or listen to the news, it's fairly easy.Everything else you have to manage through your app or discover on your own.If you had a brand new phone

This new generation is better than the last. We keep this one in our kitchen; easy for recipes and to listen to music as i work in the kitchen. Handy device!

Good quality product, excellent sound, excellent functionality

Looks great! Perfect size. Easy set up. I’m excited for all the possible uses. I looking forward to watching exercise video, listen to music, and access recipes. I also use it for reminders such as take out trash, drs appointments, birthday reminders, and cook timers etc. I do wish the back was a smoother finish so it would be easier wiping down and no dust in the grooves.
