I use this to stream hulu/amazon video from an ipad min to a mini projector when traveling. Works great and charges the ipad simultaneously. Perfect!

Bought to watch Harry Styles live streaming since we were in NYC and couldn’t get tickets! He was right down the street but we could only watch from our hotel room! Daughter danced around the room and it was the next best thing to being there! Worked as it was intended to work!

With regard to multimedia functionally, I always like to have a Plan B. This product works....it’s Apple so it isn’t cheap, and a must have for travelers. I used it in a 24” LED TV and a monitor. Both came out great. From the sources I used, the picture quality was on par with the specs the devices were able to push out! So, movie quality for 24” TV was good...whereas as my 90” TV not so good, but that is to be expected. The SOLE REASON I could not rate this 5 stars was because, for some reason, I could not get audio and a full picture view while using the ESPN App. This may just be an issue with this specific app, but I have yet to be able to isolate the issue.

It's Plug & Play - most of the time ..... It sends a 1080p HD signal from your iphone to your HD TV via HDMI cable from your Iphone - videos or various APS; YouTube, HULU, and others..... Some times the video from YouTube or HULU freezes during commercial breaks, the fix is unplug and restart the video which can be annoying.... It is still an awesome piece of tech - a must have for any iPhone owner .....

Worked flawlessly on two different monitors/TV that I used it on. My phone (iPhone 14 Pro Max) did say it was downloading firmware when I first plugged it in, but I waited a minute and then tried mirroring and it fired right up. Works flawlessly, no input lag whatsoever. My only small gripe with this is that you cannot have the audio play from your phone or another device with this hooked up. I originally wanted it for the gym area, and had it hooked to a monitor without speakers built in and it was silent...which is not what I wanted. Hooked it to a normal TV and of course it works fine. Still, good to know ahead of time if you were thinking of a similar use-case. I would recommend this directly from Apple product as compared to a lot of the other ones on here that claim to do it for less. You get what you pay for, and reading through reviews for this type of product I saw a lot of inconsistent products that sometime worked and sometimes didn't. Don't risk it if you have an Apple phone and just get this one.

Looking for a way to show off videos, photos, and other visual content from our iPhone or iPad, this adapter, along with an HDMI adapter, did the job.

My husband loss most of his vision recently & we purchase a 75'' TV in hopes that he would be able to see some of the screen. And he could! So thankful! The geek squad delivered & installed it & did a wonderful job. They were really patient with me on instructions on how to operate it. We are watching a movie now & enjoying the large screen!

One of the downsides of owning an ‘’i’’ device is the dongle nightmare, there should be more options in term of dongle choices, like a VGA plus HDMI dongle, because both of them are separated and in my country (Mexico), both standards are very common in educational settings. I bought an adapter from china and I must say I know why this cost so much, the video output is almost free of lag, the Chinese one stutters with animations and stuff. Overall very good, just very expensive and prone to aesthetic damage.
