Not wanting to spend over $100 I wanted to mirror my iPhone on my tv. I hooked up the hdmi cable to the tv and the lightning plug into my phone and it worked instantly. Also very crisp and clear.

This adapter worked quite well to connect iphone to a smart tv for sight impaired. It blows up the screen on your phone to tv size. It is quite expensive, but does the job well.

If you don’t have a way of streaming your iPhone or iPad to your tv, this little thing is what you need! Super helpful, easy to use. You can charge your device while you use this too.

Does what it’s advertised to do. Plug into your tv with a HDMI cord and it will charge your phone if you plug a charger into it. Streams video from lost apps straight to your tv.

Easy to use no clutter with other wires no complicated instructions and it does what it says it will do but I do believe the price is a little high as there is a third party products that do the same thing

Truly plug n play. Needed to view iPad on TV in meeting and works well. Plug it in and turn on TV and iPad or iPhone that use Lightning plug. Have used 4 or 5 times, works as designed.

I wanted to show movies or Netflix on a recent projector purchase from any of my Apple products. Nothing could be more easy to use than this adapter. All I have to do is connect the adapter to the lightning port on any Apple device that accepts a lightning cord and use an HDMI cable on the onther end. Then attach it to the projector. What I got was superior picture and sound quality. The picture was in true 1080i and the sound was in true 5.1 surround. What's even better is that the adapter also has another lightning port right next to the HDMI port for connecting a lightning cable and plugging the other in into an outlet so you can have the battery charging while watching your media. Well worth paying a few more dollars for this than trying other types of adapters that really don't work the same.

I purchased this adapter to play television or Netflix from my phone to a hdmi capable television in my car. This adapter works like a dream. I can watch my basketball games on a regular sized tv while on the go. This adapter is a nessecity.

I bought this for my Mom and Dad as replacement to their old one. They’ve been using the same ever since it came out from Apple, I think almost 8-10 yrs now.. attached to their phone - connected to TV they’re able to FaceTime / video call us and our ralatives from other country in Big screen.. and watch videos too

This specific Apple adapter I can praise compared to other versions that they sell that are definitely overpriced and don’t deliver even close to the value that they should be delivering. Don’t get me wrong this adapter is overpriced, but it will work and I’ve had TV and monitor configurations that will not work with third-party adapters because of HDMI encryption and so on so I highly suggest if you want the Apple lightning to HDMI experience you are not going to go wrong. Netflix will sometimes not work with some third-party adapters that are cheaper than this so as long as you are willing to trial and error with multiple or get lucky with just finding the correct adapter then I highly suggest getting this you will not regret it.

It costs about three times more than the amazon ones but read carefully as most won't allow you to playback recorded stuff from Netflix, etc. This one does and it works perfectly. No buffering, streams just fine.

Needed this to convert a signal from my iPhone 6S Plus to composite, then plug into the truck composite audio/video. Now we can watch any videos from the iPhone on the trucks tv's, even streamed Vudu, iTunes & Netflix. Works perfectly.

Since Comcast cancelled Yes Network I subscribed to Sling TV to watch Yankees and download the app to my I-Pad . I Use the HDMI adapter to stream from I-Pad to big screen TV. Excellent picture. Allows me plug in charger while watching .

This has the best adapter for someone that has no cable, just plug in your phone to HDMI and it's ready to go. Good quality when watching Netflix or other programs from your phone. Easy for the kids to use also plug and ready to go.

Works perfect for what I needed it for! Recently cut my cable and wifi off at home. Unlimited data on my cell phone and this adapter allows me to stream Netflix right on my TV. No need for a fire stick or other divice.

Needed this in a pinch and picked it up at neighborhood Best Buy. Great! Along with an HDMI cord, makes it easy to plug iPad into TV. I used it to make a presentation, but it makes it easy to see anything on your phone on the big screen.

Works as designed. I like that you can charge and use the product at the same time. As with all apple products it costs more than it maybe should but works well

The cable was a bit expensive but it is well worth the cost. Connecting my iPad to the TV to stream movies and videos win amazing picture quality was well worth it. And I can charge my iPad while watching a movie. Makes it all with it.
