So happy I bought this because It was very useful. I actually used it more than I thought I would.

I use this for watching my iPhone content on my big screen tv. It works just as you would expect it to. You plug in your phone, make sure it’s on the right input on the tv, and bam, instant mirroring from ur iPhone to the tv. Only negative is the price.

This cable turns any hdmi TV into a Smart TV and more using an iPad or iPhone. Any content on your Apple mobile device can be displayed. Only negative is the length. Unless you add an hdmi extension cable you will be getting up frequently to pause, change content or fast forward/rewind.

I purchased this adapter primarily to stream Netflix/HBOgo to my older tv. It worked as expected, and I was pleased. However, a week or so later it began having trouble connecting and I discovered the wire below the lightning connector had begun to twist and bunch inside it’s casing. (The connection would return if I held the wire the right way). I exchanged it for a new one and thought it was a lemon. With my new adapter I was very careful not to tug, twist, or otherwise stress the wires/joints. I always layed my phone and the device flat and straight while in use. Three weeks of gentle, careful use and I was having the same problem. I exchanged the product a second time and just now (2 weeks later) I am having the same issue for the 3rd time. I know I should have purchased the insurance that was offered, but frankly, even if I had, having to call it in every 3 weeks seems excessive. I would give this product 5 stars if it didn’t break down so readily. I’m generally brand-loyal to Apple but lately they’ve been letting me down in the durability department. I will be looking for a similar product by a different manufacturer.

Easy to use and allows charging while plugged into the Apple. The adapter duplicates the device screen well on an HD TV. When used with an iPhone, the screen will duplicate with bars on the side when the phone is in portrait mode. If compatible video apps are running, the video will fill the TV in the proper orientation this also works with the iPad mini I have been using. A great addition to the tech pack for using with presentations on an HD TV or videos in a pinch.

Was out of town for work on a Monday night and the rental house just had an antennae for TV reception so no ESPN, no Monday night football:( I have Verizon so I can watch all the NFL games but wasn’t looking forward to viewing the whole thing on my little iPhone 7. Ran to Best Buy fully expecting to have to pay over $100 for whatever it would take to be able to watch what was on my phone on the TV. Salesman first showed me AppleTV and while I’m sure it’s a great product, it was, as I expected, well over $100. Next option was this adapter. At $50 it was worth a try. Got back, started the game on my phone, plugged the adapter into the phone and then an HDMI cable from the adapter to the TV and it worked flawlessly. The picture on the TV was very good and the sound was as good as the TV speakers would allow. There’s an additional port on the adapter so you can be charging your device while it’s in use. Exactly what I was looking for. I’m going to take the adapter and a 10’ HDMI cable with me from now on.

I bought this adaptor to steam video with my 9.7” iPad 2018 to my TV. It works wonderfully! Picture quality is excellent, full HD 1080p quality. Easy to use, and makes streaming apps on my TV very easy. A little pricy, but well worth it as the picture quality is far better than the aftermarket adaptors.

This Apple - Lightening Digital A/V Adapter has knocked our viewing opportunities Out of The Park. Whatever we can get on our Apple iPhone we can watch on our TV. Watching the screen on our iPhone was acceptable only because we did not own this Apple A/V Adapter. This has changed our viewing experiences. We watch our Grandsons hockey games & all kinds of other events & programs. When we travel we can take it with us. It takes up no room & it is easy to use any place we take it. We love it & we are thrilled to have this Apple - Lightening Digital A/V Adapter.

Bought this for presentations from my iPad. Turns out it is great for projecting movies or live sports downloaded to my iPhone/iPad on my 75" Vizeo TV. Easy to use, plus it allows a connection to HDMI and to a transformer to keep the iPhone/iPad charged while streaming.

Does what it’s intended to do. Simple to use, you just plug in the HDMI and an iPhone charger into the adapter, and then plug the adapter into your phone. It charges your phone while you use it, which is great.

We bought this to hook into the HDMI port in our Durango. We can stream Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime movies, etc on the screens built into the car. It works really well and also keeps the kids from straining their necks looking down at a phone screen.

Date: Oct. 18, 2024. This Apple brand Lightning Digital A/V Adapter aka Lightning to HDMI Adapter works excellent. I use it with my iphone 13. Whatever I see on my phone screen I see on the TV and the sound comes from the TV. You might have to give it about 5 seconds to connect, once connected mirroring is instant. I bought this because I wanted a reliable wired connection and not the wireless option from the phone. I mainly use it with YouTube. I don’t have have any paid subscriptions like Netflix so don’t know if that works with those. You can also charge your iphone at the same time your mirroring. I’m 100% satisfied and recommend the Apple brand instead of the aftermarket ones which sometimes don’t work. Thanks.

This interface worked well connecting from my phone to a projector as well as to a large television screen. Connected to charging at same time. Don’t know what else one could ask for. Very good product.

Another awesome practical easy setup Apple Accessory. Now I can have full function to see whatever is on my iPad and iPod . That means pictures, Emails, and all App functions . For example I have a security video monitor app. Now I can see all eight of my Live feed cameras simultaneously on my 82 inch Samsung TV; without having eye strain. This product will also work with most of the Apple iPhone series that are Lightning Cable compatible. It is recommended that you use an Apple AC adapter to Lightning cable power source rather than getting the power from the USB ports on the back of TV. Some TV models the USB power does not have adequate amperage output. The volts will all be the same. You can try taking the power from the USB port from TV and if you don't have any problems then don't worry about it.

This adapter instantly allows you to hook up your iOS devices to your TV via HDMI and you can charge it at the same time too. Play games or watch movies on your TV directly from your iPhone or iPad seamlessly. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I was looking for iPhone to HDMI adapter and i found in Best Buy. After trying with my Roland Video switcher mixer HD AV VR-4HD for Video Podcasting I love it, very useful to connect your iPhone to your streaming device works perfect, I highly recommended.

This is a great and easy way to connect what you see on your phone to a TV. Works flawlessly every time. Only gripe is that it cost way too much for a simple adapter. But that’s Apple for you.

Mirroring works well on my Samsung TV, clear pics, wether its iPad or iPhone connected via HDMI cable. I was fortunate to get this at a persuasive discount. The purpose was to be able to stream from phone direct and not be limited by data cap for using phone as Hotspot with iPad etc, as most carriers have even with unlimited data plans. I had tried one before and noticed it was dropping the signal often, but it appears this is an updated unit. I use the device extensively (3-5 hours, 4 times a week) and at it has a tendency to get a bit warm, however it continues to function. It also has a lightning cable port for charging while iThingy is being used. My biggest knock: There are no worthy alternatives to rival and the Cost is Ridiculous. $20 would be better, but I am cable free, without 7GB hotspot limit and now a big screen for movies and learning etc.

The adaptor is very easy to use just plug it into ur iPhone or ipad then connect ur hdmi and power cable if you want to charge ur device at the same time you do not have to have power cable hooked up to have it work
