He wanted to be able to use his iPhone on the TV. I bought this adapter for him to plug in his iPhone 6s plus but It didn’t work at all. I plugged in my iPhone X and it worked fine.

I can not only mirror my phone and watch Netflix or listen to music through the surround sound but it charges it at the same time .. love it!! Got it for a lesser price also then other stores were selling it for!!

Highly recommendable and dependable!

Mirrors superbly

Mirrored my iPad nicely using the correct aspect ratio. Very pleased. For the long presentation I plugged a 30,000 mAh battery backup into the charging port. This kept the iPad well charged the whole time.

The only con I’ve had with this is the xfinity app doesn’t work. Netflix, YouTube, Instagram, browsing the internet all works. No delays and the picture quality is excellent.

We watch movies on our tv with this Apple Lighting Digital A/V adapter connected to our IPad Pro. So, you have one HDMI with a lightning port which works great for charging while watching movies and or connecting to other devices.

The reason I bought it, was to watch Netflix on a TV, that was not connected to cable or a dish. Make sure this is the one you purchase. The other wire only has a connection for the HDMI and not a connection to charge.

If you want to hook your iPhone or iPad to a TV, projector, or some other A/V device and would prefer a wired connection over wireless then this is for you. Carrying this around with you instead of a full blown AppleTV is much more practical.
