    I wanted something that would allow me to use live video off my phone into a Blackmagic video switcher. This product works really well for that need. I did have to use a third party software to get clean video without all the focus, zoom settings showing up...but that would have been the case with any adapter like this. Great price. Works perfectly!

    I was told that this would not work on Apple products by Best Buy techs but I bought it anyways and it works fine. Interesting though that I do not get a full TV screen from my iPad but I do from my iPhone.

    I originally bought this item, so I could watch the NLCS Playoffs at a friend's house because he does not have cable. I figured I could project my screen from my iPhone using my cable account onto his living room TV, but that was not the case. Once connected properly, logged into my account, set the proper channel; I immediately got an error message. I tried other channels and worked perfectly. It just didn't work for the channel desired. In sum, if you're going to use it for a major sporting event, do not buy it. It will not work. This is the reason I can't give it five stars.
