    I got this adapter to play the movies I have on my Ipad on our tv. It seems that it is getting easier to just buy digital copies of movies and not worry about a disc. So I had to find a product that would allow me to do that wth an HDMI plug. It works great for the movies on the Itunes account, full 1080p. But if I access Vudu or another streaming video app I dont really get the full 1080p. I only get the display to be full screen when it plays movies otherwise I only get a half screen in the middle.

    It's a good adapter, I have tried it with a projector and with a TV and it allows for good quality transfer from the phone. I think it's a little expensive.

    Connected my iPad2 to my TV and it worked great. I use my iPad to stream TV over internet when I'm outside on my patio.

    This works well to reliably display my iPad screen with no lag. It has helped with remote teaching quite a bit since I can input my iPad screen into OBS Studio, then use Keynote’s pointer feature to easily point out elements on the slide. The included charging port makes this especially useful just in case I forget to charge up the iPad before class.
