My teen loves the Apple Pencil! Not only does it allow her to create art but she can use it to take notes for class. It is very responsive to movement without lag. She is very happy with it. It is expensive compared to off-brands but you get the quality that Apple is known for so the extra money is worth it.

So easy to use, comes with a spare tip. Stays charged a long time before having to recharge.

Bought for my 12 year old daughter and she really enjoys this pencil and has drawn many pictures for us. Excellent must have accessory.

I bought this on a whim to accompany the new iPad I bought for my 16 year old daughter. I wasn’t sure if she would ever use the pencil but to my surprise she loves this pencil! She uses it to draw on her iPad quite frequently! This was a great idea and I highly recommend it for anyone of any age!

Use it for college class and have no problem with the battery and feels smooth writing with.

This is such a cool tool to have with an iPad! It can both write, color, and shade! Personally I think it's a little over priced but seeing as I bought it as a gift I'm ok with it!

Make sure you buy the right Pencil for your generation iPad. I was sold the newer version at the store, which did not work with my iPad Pro from last year. I had to go back to the store, wait around, wait some more, and finally get the correct model. That said, this thing is great. It has an extra nib in the box, and it recharges by hooking it up to the charge port of the iPad. Takes about 15 minutes.

I do understand that everybody is different and have different lifestyles and hobbies, $100 or $130 for the new one is not expensive for all the different types of art and lettering that your able to do with this device. Example I have two Iwata micron airbrushes they cost about $500.00 each and that's just the airbrush "no paint". My son puts out tons of artwork with it and he is in middle school.

We purchased it for our new iPad Pro, and it allows you to utilize even more of the features packed into this amazing tablet and simplifies the use of other programs. At a minimum purchase the Apple Pencil and try it out for yourself. I guarantee you will love it the more you use it.

I love To draw and even more I have Wanted to start digital drawing. I have The iPad 6 gen that accepts the Apple Pencil and I have loved It ever since. Great option for those digital media art people who simple can’t afford the iPad pros just yet. It allows you to really test the waters out and see if the iPad Pro would be worth saving for. Which I would Have to say “most definitely”
