This is an item that every student should own along with the app notability. Eliminate paper notes and write till your hearts content. Other apps like Procreate are awesome when paired with this tool and charging is super fast. Only grief is the cap could have more metal for the magnet to attach to to get a stronger hold. I haven't lost the cap or had it fly off but it has come off in my case if it gets jostled too hard.

I think this pen is ok, but I don’t like how it charges.. seems like the tip could break off easy and get stuck in your iPad if breaks while plugged in. Also don’t like that there is a cap that could easily be lost. Initially bought the gen 2 pen, but had to exchange for the 1st gen because it wasn’t compatible with a brand new ipad. Slightly disappointed.

Got one for the wife for her new iPad Pro, she loves it. Very responsive and makes doing her craft work easy on the iPad Pro. Charges right in the Charging port. Only thing that concerns me is when it is charging, looks like you could break it off. Would be nice if they came out with a cable to connect it to the iPad so it wasn't sticking out in the open. Other than that, excellent add-on for the iPad and great tool for working with graphics.

It is a fun to use drawing and as a general-purpose stylus. A good weight and feels good in the hand.

First thing I noticed about the Pencil is that it looks great. It writes smooth with no hiccups or lag. I'm thankful that there are a lot of apps that work well with it. I use Procreate and there are no problems. Charging it through the iPad is very convenient. I did notice that it may be easy to snap the pencil off the end if I'm not careful. It doesn't take long to recharge so I don't leave it plugged into the pad when it's not necessary.

It works great with both my iPad Pro 10.5 and iPad Pro 12.9. You can only have it paired to one iPad Pro at a time. If I plug it into the connector on my iPad Pro 10.5, it will not work if I try to use it on my iPad Pro 12.9. Likewise, if I pair it to my iPad Pro 12.9, it will stop working for the iPad Pro 10.5. If you want to go back and forth between two different iPad Pro's you will need to purchase two pencils..

while it misses a little bit of the WAICOM tablet usefulness, due to how the screen recognizes the touch of the pen. This is more like a traditional pencil and paper, which is great for me. I think the batter life is decent as well. I think if you are into digital art, this is a must have addition to an iPad pro. I would recommend a Matt screen protector though for the iPad. It gives the pencil a paper like tactile feel.
