This is an excellent stylus, but they've very obviously improved on the design with the gen 2. It's super sensitive, and feels good in your hand, if a bit heavy. I have 2 complaints, first, it is entirely too smooth. The pencil will easily slip out of your grasp if you are not paying close attention to it. I'm forced to buy a cover for it to give my fingers something to grab. Second, the little end cap that covers the lightning connecter is entirely too easy to flick off. Without any way to hold it firmly in place, the magnet has already begun to weaken, and if I pull it out of my hand too quickly, the cap will come off. As I stated, I'm purchasing a cover for the pencil, to give some grip and secure the cap, but its just that a stronger magnet would have resolved the issue.

Absolutely love it! - love THE options to make notes without typing and the quick response to my simple touches on my iPAD. With fat fingers THE Point on THE pen sure makes many selections easier

Without this tool the iPad Pro is simply another tablet. With the Apple Pencil and the ease of communication between the Apple Pencil and the iPad Pro tablet, you'll be able to produce precise and professional work in drawing, painting, writing in the note app and other apps.

This works great with the ipad pro. Only problem is that you need to buy a case for it separately since you will lose the nibs and the pencil will roll to places where you will have to look for it. Too expensive to let the dog find it somewhere. There is no where on the ipad or case to store it securely. This is the only pencil that I would use with the ipad pro since it's sensitivity is spot on.

Love this and have several times tried to use it on my iPhone, (hint hint apple) It does get glitchy but I just connect it to my iPad and it resolves itself. It charges super fast and uses barely any battery life from my iPad now that’s impressive. I am a huge fan!!!!!!

No question the Apple Pencil is a fantastic input device for the iPad Pro. No stylus I've used compares. It's downsides are that it is easy to loose (this was my 4th) and sometimes the pencil stops charging appropriately and has to be replaced after months and months of use.

My wife did buy this item at Bestbuy for her Tablet. Works well like it should, but the price of this pen is not cheep at all. I guess we get what we pay for? I wish she would of waited for a BestBuy sale, but she is a woman, so that is that! Happy Wife, Happy life!

I’ve never been a stylus fan but that all changed with the Apple Pencil! Within a week, this device changed the way I took notes, researched and conducted presentations. I’m not artistic at all and I find this device essential for daily uses. You’ll love it too!

Works likes intended amazing for digital use like art etc

My daughter loves her apple pen. She uses it to draw a deletion of pictures and images on her iPad. This is truly an item that will be utilized for various reasons on different devices.

I purchased this as a gift for my wife who uses an iPad Pro. She didn't ask for it and I wasn't sure if she would like it. She absolutely loves it and uses it constantly. It makes all kinds of surfing, games and shopping easier for her. I think it's too expensive for what it does. If it were $50, I'd give it 5 stars. $99 is way too much.

I’m slowly becoming an Apple lover. This Pencil is love ❤️. I’m an educator and I have to do evaluations. I can’t stand typing during these observations because I type so loud. This iPad and pen allows me to take ‘notes’ and it’s transformed into text. I love it!

I love my Apple pen, it makes designing art and editing photos so much easier. It holds a charge much longer than any other stylus I have used in the past. It was also on sale when I purchased it, so even better!

Daughter loves it, works great just wasnt crazy bout the price doesn't do anything amazing that other stylus' dont do except charge.

Works great with Ipad however it is is easy to misplace so case with pen holder is essential

Writes great with the iPad Pro. I use it with the Good Notes app and it writes like you’re using a regular pen. I have tried the cheaper brands out there, and nothing compares to this. I wish it wasn’t so expensive, but that’s Apple for ya. Oh well....

I use this every single day, and have never had it skip a beat. It's so reliable, I love it! I do a lot of artwork on various programs, and this is the only way to do graphic design. It keeps up with my movements as reliable as an ink pen. I am so pleased.

This pencil has helped me grow HUGELY as an artist, its easy to connect, very soft all around. The tips may be hard to replace as ypu have to access the apple store to buy them, but they are totally worth the time to wait for and enjoy the use of this pencil all around.

I haven't used this for drawing (my kids will). I have started to use my iPad to take handwritten notes in meetings using this pencil and Notability. Great combo. I highly recommend it. Saves paper and helps to keep notes organized.

This is the 2nd iPad Pen that I purchased as a gift. I have used one for a year and a good friend purchased an iPad for use at her new job so I purchased the iPad Pencil for her as a gift. It really made a difference in her ability to use the IPad at work.
