I love the feel of this pencil. Good weight and diameter. I wish it had an indicator on it to know how charged the battery is at a glance instead of having to look on the ipad. Also, I wish it had a tracker on it in case you lose it so that you can locate it from your iPad. Hopefully, future generations will.

Its a good pen use mostly for notes but i have been trying to draw on my ipad it works good too

The Apple pencil is a great device. If feels like a real pencil. Super comfortable to hold and the response to my iPad is great. They both go hand in hand. I only wish the pencil came standard with the iPad.

The Apple pencil has been easy and fun to use for everyone in the family. My son uses it for school and I have used it for personal use, it really makes the iPad easier to use. It is quite functional as well as fun.

Works great for editing music on iPad, just like a pencil that I used to use on paper. Using the iPad for music reading requires quick reaction, and the iPad paired with the Apple Pen allows that.

I cannot ay enough how much of a help this has been for college. My advice is download notability, record all your lectures and review them the next day. Best investment for school and note taking .

The pencil is pretty slick and works easly with little effort. It does charge fast and it charges from either a cord or from the iDevice, but would be nice if it held the charge a bit longer. Also would be nice if it had a virtual eraser too as some other pencils have. All in all, it performs very well, no serious complaints.

The Apple Pencil is a great product to use with the iPad! We use it for everything from lettering to sketching. It makes things so much easier and we couldn't imagine how we would do things without it on the iPad.

This is a neat accessory for the iPad but not a necessity. It functions really well and I like the pinpoint accuracy of the fine point when using it. If you're an artist, this would be a must have.

Really nice pen but it cost $100! I know this is Apple but wow! That's expensive, isn't it?!

The Apple Pan really completes the iPad Pro from taking notes to drying also whenever I Photoshop pictures it makes it easier to get detailed into removing the unwanted items in the picture

An okay "Pencil", hard to keep a grip, especially if you're using it for longer periods of time. Stick with 2nd Gen if you have the iPad compatible with it

Not there are many alternatives, but this is the best stylus you can buy for the iPad Pro. Note that this stylus only works for the 1st and 2nd generation iPad Pro [(or iPad Air (3rd generation), iPad mini (5th generation), iPad (6th generation)]. If you have the newer iPad Pro with FaceID, you'll need the 2nd generation Apple Pencil, which charges on the side. Speaking of which, the charging is kinda awkward with this Pencil, as you take off the end cap (which can be very easy to lose) and plug it into the iPad Pro's lightning port or you can use the included female-to-female lightning adapter (another handy adapter that can be easy to lose).

Can’t really beat the original Apple pencil for what it’s meant to do. You can get away with getting keypads from other manufacturers but you can’t really with this.

Best Buy offered a great price on this which was paired with the iPad I picked up for my daughter. Product works great and is easy to set up (5 minutes).

Got this as a gift for my artist 12 year old. Paired easily and holds a charge all day of heavy use. She is really happy with it.

If you have an Apple device that is compatible with the Apple pen, then you NEED this! 3rd party compatible pens do not work as accurately and smoothly as this does.
