Purchased via - open box excellent condition so paid less and it was still in original packaging- was very happy about that. Use it with Mac Book to connect other Apple items or connect your large screen monitor and multi-task while working. Very easy, light, easy to take with you in laptop bag.

Super handy charger multiport adapter. Convenient for travel as it takes up little space while offering great convenience. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for one!

I am using it everyday with my MacBook while connecting external monitor (HDMI port), a usb flash drive (USB 3.0 port) and also charging the the MacBook (USB C port) at the same time using this Multiport Adapter. It’s gets heated while in use but maintains the temperature. I feel it is safe as I have used it for one month now. If you buy an none-Apple adapter, you will not be able to charge your laptop at the same time (using the same adapter). This is the main reason I bought this product.

This adapter is great for your Apple iMac Mini. It allows me to add an extra monitor via HDMI, and make additional USB connections.

I accidentally bought the wrong dongle. I was needing to use a third monitor at work so I tried to match the VGA dongle I already had but accidentally bought the HDMI dongle. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise. So now on my MacBook Pro I’m able to have three screens running: the MacBook Pro, a secondary monitor, and an HDMI output to an overhead projector. It works awesomely! I am so glad I made this mistake!

Tried a cheaper adaptor from Amazon and it did not work. Bought the Apple adaptor and it worked perfectly. Very happy.

Very happy. I finally found a multi-port adapter that actually WORKS! My screen on my MacBook Air 12 inch laptop doesn't work anymore because when I changed the internal battery, I just have broken the cable that connects to the display. But, I was able to connect an external monitor and it works. But my MacBook Air has only one port in it, and I've been looking for a multiport adapter that could stay plugged into my wall, AND have my external monitor working at the same time. This thing was the only adapter that WORKED. Thank goodness!!!! Now, I can get a few more years out of this laptop!

Works fine, does what I need it to do. It’ll charge my MacBook Air M2, iPad Air 5, or iPhone 15 Pro while simultaneously outputting to HDMI. I’m currently using my MacBook’s 30W charger for this, but would like to add a higher power charger to this for my “docked” setup. I do not know how much power this can actually deliver though, so I’m not sure if upgrading to the 70W charger would be worth it when at the desk where my monitor is. All in all, though, it’s an expensive Apple-branded alternative to other docks which would be better for such purposes. This is meant to be more portable, though if you’re hooking up a second monitor I’m not exactly sure why you would need such a thin model when alternatives have so many more additional ports for the same price (see the Apple Store for a sanctioned third-party alternative which I believe Best Buy might even sell themselves). I guess if you must have “thin” then this is the thing you want, but I wish I had done a little more research before I paid for this.

This item beats the heck out of the first item that I purchased (dock). Easy to connect multiple monitors and other devices.

I purchase all of the computer equipment for our company so I am always looking to be frugal with my expenditures. We have tried a number of the other brands for these types of adapters. All came with top recommendations and were cheaper than this one. In one year, of the 24 that were purchased, all but four have had some failure issues. Beyond questioning the reliability of the reviews, what was more concerning is the fact that during this pandemic all of our associates have moved to work from home status. This meant troubleshooting these issues became that much more difficult. For that reason we purchased an Apple one as one of our replacements. Before you knew it, each time there was another failure I replaced them with the Apple brand one. Not a single one has failed. They may cost a few bucks more than the others, but when reliability matters, you won't find a better option.
