I had another 3.0 modem before this and it wasn't as fast as this one. It was good but not as fast and I really like speed when it comes to being on the internet. I researched on what was the best modem out there and the majority chose this one. I was about to order this on Amazon but with Best Buy's price match it was a no brainer.

I have TWC/comcast.. I was charged about $6.00 a month for rent of their modem. My connection speed was ranging from 6-10 Mbps and 1 up, now I'm getting 15-20 Mbps down and 2-2.5 up. Their rental equipment stinks and is inferior, I was paying for junk. Now I've got the speed I was paying for and within a year it will pay for its self.

I set this up the day my Time Warner internet was installed and haven't had to touch it since. Exactly what I was hoping for.

Good modem, but steep, even if you don't get the wireless router. Been 2 months and no problems so so far so good, but shop around and only buy it if you need the DOCSIS functionality.

I've had this modem for almost a month now. It has tremendously increased my internet speed by more than 50%. The only thing I don't like is that the modem does not come with troubleshooting documentation. My modem went to "sleep". Thank goodness for google I found out how to access the modem through its IP address and reset the modem. Other than that issue, this modem is a great choice if you're having a hard time to decide on one.

Only complaint is the white/clear cover. In a dark room depending where you have the modem the blinking light can be a problem as it will be annoying reflecting off your walls.

I had to buy a DOCSIS 3 cable modem as my DOCSIS 2 was not anymore compatible with the internet service provider. It was really a great investment as I see much improvement in the Internet speed and much lesser occurrences of latency overall in the last 4 months.
