works well. I have not had any issues with this product. It is definitely better than the Time Warner Cable modem.

I don't know much about routers and modems, but I purchased this modem to use with an old linksys router and it works wonderfully. The set up was pretty simple though I had a friend who works in IT help me set it up. Previously my internet was pretty slow and would cut off when I used a router/modem from my internet provider. However, after purchasing and installing this modem, my internet has been much better and I rarely experience issues. It's also small and very cute!

This appears to work at least as well as the one comcast charges $10/month rental. Admittedly if something goes wrong I'm on my own, but with replacement warranty I'm not too worried about that.

My speed test numbers almost doubled, when compared with the old modem numbers. So far everything is great.

I had to Router/Modem combo, but had too many issues. When I converted over to this router, it resolved all of my issues. It is working for my perfectly.

I bought this modem because I upgraded to a faster connection from my provider. I have noticed faster upload and download speeds. This is a great modem.

This is second Motorola - SURFboard cable modem I bought. The first one I bought was about 8 years ago, still running very well. The new one also runs well.

I was tired of paying Comcast rental fee each month so I bought this modem from Best Buy. I'm very pleased with the product and have had no problems with it.

The Motorola SBG6782-AC Surfboard eXtreme offers high-end hardware components and good overall performance. The built-in support for MoCA is a useful extra.

I have a 5 in - 5 out internet speed which I was told might be a problem for streaming movies and downloading songs. I don't know if the modem helped increase the speed but I've had 5 laptops using internet at once and internet connection was perfect. I can stream netflix from anywhere in my apartment and I never loose connection like I did with the cheaper version of this product a year ago.

We were having problems with slow email serivce when Cox increased their speeds. Along with a new router, the problem seems to have been addressed.

Excellent modem to ditch $7 rent to cable company for outdated Motorola modem and great speed, ease of installation for user having 50 Mbps package. Great for apartments (1 BHK). I suggest to use good quality wireless router to take advantage of this excellent modem.

This product is only good for backup, or you can actually use it if you are not looking for lightening speed for downloads. Because this modem is somewhat an older model, the compatibility with some cable providers may not give you that speed that one may want, depending your use for internet speed. I only use it as a backup when my DSL may be out because of inclement weather or service maintenance to the area. The bottom line is, It works fine and gets the job done for internet service whenever needed, and also a good bargain for this product.

No issues with this modem. Good price and easy to set up. I'm not doing anything fancy, just using this for my cable and hooking up my router for wifi.

needed to update our modem to handle the higher speeds started to come. this is DOCSIS 3.0 compatible and filled our need perfectly. Easy installation.

I purchased this at Best Buy for less than a year's cable modem rental from Comcast. Why rent a modem for $8 a month when you can buy one cheaper and own it when you're move on? I choose this over a cable modem with an embedded Wi-Fi router for two reasons. First, I prefer to use my own modified router running OpenWRT. Second, I don't want to give Comcast the ability to turn my personal internet connection into a hot spot for others which could slow down my connection speed. (I'm not sure if they could do that with a model I purchased independently, but I'm not taking the chance.) It was very simple to install and set up. If you're comfortable with your ability to plug in 3 cables, prefer to save money by buying a modem as opposed to renting, and have (or want to buy) a separate wireless router that you can configure this is something you should definitely look into.

This modem works well for around my apartment. Had some issues getting it set up with Comcast, but the rep I contacted was (surprisingly) helpful and got everything sorted out with relative ease.
