I really wanted to like this laptop, specially for $899 black Friday is a very good value. - Great keyboard and trackpad - One of the best speakers I have ever heard on a laptop - Awesome RGB - Fast of course, fans are quiet and laptop is cooled and ventilated very well HOWEVER Screen colors are totally awful, I am not sure if I got a bad one or just Asus put in the worst screen on any laptop to cut cost. Colors are washed out, red is more of dark orange, yellowish tint screen, tried to fix the colors in every way possible using Asus software and windows color calibration with no luck, on the upside though it gets plenty bright and supports HDR video playback. It is a real shame that I have to return this laptop because it checks all right things on a great laptop, but I just can't get over how bad the colors on the screen are. I do a whole a lot more than gaming on my laptop and need at least a relatively good color screen I am going to try to check if there is a display model in the store to see if it has the same issue or not before returning it. Will update the review if I find out.

This laptop has been solid performer primarily used for digital scrapbooking along with some gaming.

This is a great computer. Strong and stable.You will love this computer. It's very fast. The shape is very cool.

Excellent gaming pc just wish I had been told at the store before I ordered online no camera or cd/dvd player.

The laptop turns on in 2 seconds, which is incredible. Great display. Smaller keys on keyboard and number pad, also, the touchpad wigs out every once in a while. It becomes unusable for 5 seconds until it manages to become usable again somehow. Not sure what is up with that, but could obviously be overcome by using a mouse/wireless mouse. All in all, quality laptop.

I have always been a console gamer so I can not compare this to other gaming laptops but I can totally say that this enhances gaming compared to a PS4.. Like wow!! everything is crystal clear. I don't mind that the screen only does 60HZ but I'm sure as time goes on I will end up connecting this to a 144Hz monitor to utilize its max potential. Love how smooth it runs and how much time I save due to how fast it can load games and download updates.

I have had this laptop for about 5 months and have enjoyed it. I do not run it that often, and it seems to be doing great. Only game on it for 1 to 2 hours at a time. Also I would make sure it has proper ventilation. I raised the laptop at the 4 corners to allow more air at the bottom. Overall this laptop does great for 1080p gaming at high/ultra settings!

Haven't had this long but really good power. Only down side as with most gaming laptops is battery life.

This system gives me no lag issues in any of my online games and everything looks incredible with the setting maxed out. Only one complaint I have is that I have not figured out how to tell if the number lock is on or off. The CAPS lock has a light on the key that lights up when CAPS lock is on, but nothing for the number lock key for the numeric key pad.

Bought for my daughter to play games and for VR. Very good laptop for the money and would recommend.

Is quick and responsive. I have had no problems with it at all back. It is Powerful enough.

I have only had this a few days, and I already love it. This is my first SSD, and I cannot get over how fast it is. I like that the power connection is in the back and not on the side, and interfering with my mouse. I is super light weight. My old Asus ROG was 10 lbs, and would get really heavy in my lap, This is comfortable. As far a performance we shall have to wait and see. I have only had it a couple days.

I like it. Boots up quickly and keeps doing thing fast. Much better than that what had before.

Works perfect for gaming and home use. I play WoW and use it for college courses.

Runs everything from the current gen at a fast enough speed and quality does not lag at all.

I cant add much to what some of the others have said. if you are a super gamer who needs the latest of everything, this is not your computer. but if you are like me, this is awesome. i use this for business and casual gaming on the side. it doesn't have a touch screen like some business computers, but for the processor speed and the SDD, I won't need to replace this computer for my needs for quite a few years.

This laptop is super fast and runs any game smoothly. I highly recommend this machine.
