Customers are impressed with the ROG Delta II Wireless Gaming Headset's sound quality, citing excellent microphone quality and well-crafted equalizer presets as highlights. However, some users found the headband fit to be less than ideal, wishing for more padding and a more secure fit, especially for those with smaller heads. The audio quality was frequently praised as being among the best. A more adjustable headband would improve the overall user experience.

Premium gaming headset with great fit

I like the fit of this ROG Delta II wireless gaming headset a lot. Its not too tight and at the same time not too loose. It actually fit my head perfectly out of the box with no adjustments needed. The ear cups are sort of a triangle shape which gives a unique ergonomic design to these headphones. The rbg is done in a way that actually looks good. It comes with two sets of ear cups. One leather and one clothe. Pretty easy to change out. I find that I like the leathery feeling ones better. They just feel more premium. I know they will more than likely flake apart down the road after a lot of use but since they come with the second set I'm ok with that. The cables that come in the box are long and braided.
You could just use it out of the box but I would install armory crate and update the firmware just to make sure your on the latest. You will need to use armory crate if you want to tweak the audio eq, modify rbg lighting, update firmware, etc. Its a large program if you are going to only use it with these headphones but honestly I don't mind armory crate. Especially the newest version of it. If you have multiple Asus ROG devices like I do, they all show up in the app and you can manage them all from there. I already had it installed on my main gaming system so it all just worked.
Asus says they support all the latest gaming consoles and PC. I've only been using with my PCs so cant comment on consoles. With these you get both 2.4GHz and bluetooth support. Its pre-paired to the dongle via 2.4GHz. The dongle is usb-c which is nice but note that its long. Not sure why they couldn't make it smaller like their mice dongles but it sticks out quite a bit and I find that annoying when using with my gaming laptop. If you need to use the included usb adapter its going to be even longer.
So how does it work? Well I wasn't expecting too much from the audio quality but was pleasantly surprised. Its actually sounds pretty good for a gaming headset. The mic is clear and its also removable which is a appreciated feature. I experienced no dropouts when I walk around the house and I can wear these for long periods of time. The ear cups are a decent size and I don't get ear soreness with these like I do with some others. The mic is clear and no one has had any issues hearing me. Overall I really enjoy using these and they effortlessly integrate into my existing ROG setup.

The ASUS Delta II wireless headphones are good to go straight out of the box. Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz wireless using the attached dongle. As with most current devices, it uses a USB-C interface which is nice and convenient. RGB lighting and EQ can be managed and customized with the ASUS Armoury app. App was pretty straightforward and not janky like some companies’ options. I don’t want to draw too much attention nor wake up kids when I play, so I keep the RGB lights off. With the lighting off, the headsets are supposed to last 110 hours, although I never torture tested the exact length. I had enough juice to play over a week without ever having to recharge. With the RGB lighting on, battery life is reported to be around 30-35 hours.
Sound quality is good, with passive noise isolation. ASUS proclaims AI processing to help with AI noise canceling, but it’s not true active noise canceling. After seeing the recent news on how long-term use of active noise canceling headphones can actually cause damage, I actually prefer solid, passive noise blocking. However, if you need absolute, quiet and sound, isolation, you will need to look for a different headset, which includes active noise, cancellation.
Overall, I’m a big fan of aces ROG products, and this is another solid offering that keeps the line trustworthy. As long as you don’t need active noise canceling, this headset should check all the boxes.

This review is on an ASUS - ROG Delta II Wireless Gaming Headset for PC, Xbox, PS5 and Switch. Straight to it, it sounds good. The bass is there without any distortion. Upon first opening there was a fantastic new smell like you get with a new car. I love the RGB lighting design and you will look cool wearing it. It is light and comfortable. I can where it for long hours without it bothering me. You can be connected to 3 different devices at once. You can control the volume of each device. The controls are separated on each earpiece. 2.4Hz controls are on one side and Bluetooth is on the other side. One thing I was disappointed in was it is only connected by 3.5mm to XBOX by your controller. No wireless mode. They also don't sound that great connected that way to an XBOX. Where they really stand out is if you own an ASUS computer with RGB lighting using the Armory Crate software. Here you are provided plenty of options to customize the headset. You have an equalizer with 9 options. Virtual Surround Sound, Reverb, Bass Boost, Voice Clarity and compressor are some more audio options to play with. The Microphone has Noise Gate, Perfect Voice and Echo Cancellation with Noise Reduction. If you sync it with the RGB lighting on the PC, there are 10 modes to choose. Static, Breathing, Strobing, Color Cycle, Rainbow, Starry night, Music, Smart, Adaptive Color and Dark are those choices. The Music option is my favorite because it syncs with what you are listening to. It flashes different colors on different sections of the design so it looks like you are at a party.

I am using the headset on a PS5 and have been playing baseball and it has been perfect.
To get started with charging, its conveniently charged with USB-C so you'll never run out of options to quickly grab a cable to charge. Once charged it was easy to connect via Bluetooth to the PS5 and it has had great range. I saw in other reviews that people talked about the size of the headset. I am 7 3/8" hat size and the headphones adjust to a perfect fit for me. They are light and with the optional 2 sizes of ear cushions you can pick the size that will let you wear the headphones comfortably for hours.
As mentioned, I have been playing a baseball game with the headset and the 7.1 surround sound has been awesome hearing all of the little details that are direct and in the background of the game. The volume is easily adjusted with a dial on the left ear and I think the volume is adequate and does not get too loud, so Its pretty safe for kids to use as well. The mic volume is adjusted with a dial on the right ear. The battery life has also lived up to the advertised long life between charges, even while displaying some bright lights for style.
Overall I couldn't be happier with this headset and would recommend it for any gamer on PC, Xbox or PS5.

These are very comfortable with long use, and I think these will last longer on battery life than the previous version.
These are wireless so you'll need to charge them, but I think the battery life determines on how long you're using them for gaming in one session. You should be able to make it through several hours with these, as I can. You are doing a lot of heavy gaming and a lot of communications with other players, they might wear down faster.
The design of this headset is really good. They appear to be well built, and suitable for any system they are paired with. The microphone is Crystal clear when talking to others, and can be adjusted to any link pointing towards your mouth. The head strap is strong and I don't anticipate a breaking anytime soon. The cups around your ears are soft, which helps for long gaming sessions. Speaking of the ear cuffs, others that you are listening to will come across crystal clear. They sound really good.
In the end you have to determine whether you want these or not by just buying them. But I think once you do, you'll be happy with them.

The dual audio is the most useful feature ever

I am in love with these headphones. I am pretty sure that sums up my feelings. They have everything I want. While most people will want them for gaming, I have to say that they work amazing for dual purposing them for work. The simultaneous 2.4GHz wireless audio working at the same time as the Bluetooth is a game changer for me at work (it is also really nice for gaming). I can have my work computer with the 2.4GHz connection and my phone with the Bluetooth. When I have a work call come in on the computer I can answer and start chatting immediately instead of doing the whole can you hear me routine that seems to be common when devices have that lag and turning down the volume of my music on my phone is a piece of cake, I tend to listen to voiceless focus music so it’s nice to have it as a background even when in conference calls. But then, when a call will inevitably come in on my phone, because it supports dual audio there is no loss of audio from the headphones trying to figure out which source they should be giving my ear, I have abandoned most dual connected devices due to this issue where I will just cut out of a conversation because of an incoming call. So this feature has won me over by itself. This all applies to gaming as well. The app just changes from Teams to Discord on the computer, and the USB C dongle is easy enough to transfer between my work laptop and my gaming desktop or laptop. The other major change is I like the RBG glow at home, but I turn it off when I’m at the office.
The third connection is the wired connection. There is one advantage and disadvantage to it and it is the same thing. The Aux works without power. If you turn on the 2.4GHz or Bluetooth the Aux will not work, however, to say it another way, if somehow you have killed the rather long lived battery these still work perfectly via the Aux port assuming you have an Aux port on your device your using where you don’t have power available.
The sound is awesome, surround sound sounds good for videos, gaming, you name it, I mean it is a little overkill for conference calls but that doesn’t hurt anyone in my opinion and the mic from all feed back sounds excellent, clear voice and all that jazz which is excellent for gaming and work. The battery lasts long enough to easily make it through work and gaming and still be good to go.
While there is no noise canceling that I was a aware of over the ear headphones naturally block out sound and I haven’t had a time where noise was coming through too much including on an airplane. Basically if you need to hear the outside world, you might need to use a different pair of headphones during that time, but if you want to block out most sounds without going the noise canceling route these will get the job done.
Overall, these have fast become my favorite headset, I can wear them all day, they sound fantastic, I sound clear on the other side of any conversation, and the dual audio feature is just fantastic.

This headset is incredibly comfortable. My first use was with a motorsports game and it was a delight. You do get two sets of earpads which is unusual, but this is a higher-end headset. The already installed earpads were perfect for me. The earpads completely enclosed my ears and after 4 hours of gaming, I did not get the ear ache that I sometimes get. I will say they did fit loosely even at the lowest size adjustment, however they did stay put on my head. I often wear a hat so this ensured an ideal fit for my head. I also wear glasses and I did not notice any pressure on the sides of my head or nose while gaming with this super headset. The sound was crisp and I like to say it punched through with clarity of explosions as well as voice – tip of the cap to the design engineers. I do not think this would be a headset to jog with but that is not what it is designed for. I tried anyway and it was too loose.
The sound is beautiful with the 7.1 Dolby. I did see that there is no noise cancellation. However, when I adjusted the sound, I didn’t need noise cancelling, so all was well on that front. I also used this headset for music and it sounded fine with deep bass and the high-end treble reproduction was excellent.
The microphone can be removed if needed and it sits in a convenient spot on its little boom. The flexible boom has very functional adjustments to ensure it is near the side of my face, but does not interfere with vision at any angle.
It comes with a 5 foot charging cable versus those tiny cables – great. I can charge and easily play at the same time. It also comes with a 7 foot 3.5mm jack cable which can be a lifesaver if you have a long gaming session as it gives you that might-be-needed wired capability. You also get the 2.4 GHz dongle which is really better than Bluetooth for lower latency and thus gaming.
I highly recommend this well designed and very capable headset.

Very upset with this product. Even though it is advertised for Xbox, ONLY when you go on their website and scroll down, will you find in TINY print that “Connection to Xbox consoles only via 3.5mm wired mode”. Dont advertise for Xbox when you can’t wirelessly connect to Xbox.

I’ve been using the ASUS ROG Delta II Wireless Gaming Headset for a few weeks now, and I’m seriously impressed! From the moment I opened the box, setup was a breeze. It connected quickly to my PC via the wireless dongle, and switching between devices using Bluetooth, wireless, or even the 3.5mm jack is incredibly convenient. Whether I'm gaming on my PC or my PS5 this headset handles it all flawlessly.
One of the standout features for me is the amazing battery life. I can go several days of gaming and music playback without needing to recharge, which is a total game changer. The build quality is top-notch—sturdy enough to feel durable, but still very lightweight and comfortable for long sessions. I’ve worn it for hours without any discomfort or fatigue.
The sound quality is excellent—rich, detailed, and immersive. Whether I’m in the middle of an intense FPS match or watching a movie, the audio experience is crisp and dynamic. Visually, the headset looks sleek and stylish, and I love the customizable RGB lighting. Even better, you can turn the lights off when you want to go low-profile or save battery.
The only thing I wish it had is active noise cancelling—that would make it absolutely perfect. But even without it, this headset delivers outstanding performance. I'm still giving this headset five stars and I would definitely recommend to a friend.

ASUS - ROG Delta II Wireless Gaming Headset is overall a good headset. The sound quality is excellent, I am able to play games hear chats, and do various other things that require my attention. All the while there are other background noises that I don't hear at all, which does help with keeping me from getting distracted. The fit is very comfortable, I have worn them for several hours at a time. They work well for gaming, the microphone works well for meetings as well if you're using it for that. It also works great if you're making phone calls from your P.C.
However, now let's talk about something that I don't care for. Number one is the removable microphone, I have other headsets where the microphone flips upward to move it out of your way and to mute yourself which is what I prefer. However for this specific headset the microphone unplugs, again that's just a personal preference thing. The other thing is the mute button is not easily accessible which is why I guess having the microphone you can just unplug does come in useful at times.
Overall great sound quality and they are very comfortable just not my favorite headset.
