I like the motherboard. Quality components and ease oif installation features.
Likes:
- Strong & Cool VRM. Step above the competitors.
- GPU Quick release is nice
- NVME m,2 slot easy to install
- Wi-fi cable easy to connect
- The PCIe 5.0 channels not sharing lanes is a step above the competitors.
Dislike:
- Wish it had 40GB USB-C
- This board is pricey. It should be about 15% - 20% less.
- The Pixilated RGB and text artwork is a bit much. I Wish it was more subtle. Just my tase, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Third ASUS ROG motherboard I buy and I have never had an issue. I updated bios using a thumb drive and flash Bios button in the back with the PC powered off during build and have had 0 issues. Amazing features for the price and on sale could not be happier

Truth be told i only got kt for visuals. And it doesn’t disappoint. However i have to mention, replacing the GPU was rather dificult , i guess because of my AIO placement. Otherwise, its great!

Awesome motherboard. It has a perfect amount of USB ports on the back, PCIE Gen 5 and M.2 Gen 5, while also having plenty of gen 4 M.2 slots, and very aesthetically pleasing. Great board.

ONLY BUY THIS BOARD IF YOU CAN GET A KIT OF MEMORY ON THE VERIFIED LIST
Decent board even considering the price, still wish they would compress the product line differences down a bit since many features present on "premium" boards like the x870, are not all that much more expensive to implement than the current features.
For the price, these 850 boards should come with a pushbutton pci-e lock on the 16x, and a digital error code display. With pc installation troubleshooting having a bit of a comeback (unfortunately), this seems like a given on a board that costs $300.
This feels especially annoying because it features quick connect m.2 riggings, something that I have yet to use outside of the initial installation and the occasional storage expansion every 5 years or so.
Only con but a major one: Memory support for AM5 is still terrible, no matter what nerds try to tell you. I can confirm that my 9800X3D is stable on stock bios with crucial memory kit CP2K16G64C38U5B, all default settings, no EXPO. This setup DOES NOT like to run EXPO or overclock at all, but I get 180fps on BF6 max settings @1080p paired with a 9070xt so this is a non issue for me.
If you have the cash, try to get on sale for ~$250 or less.
Almost perfect for 9000 series, darn m.2 latch tho

Very solid board with everything you need except USB4 which can be added later with a addon board if you really end up needing it. The two m.2 that run off the CPU without downgrading the main PCI Express is great. The only issue which is why 4/5 is the main m.2 heatsink design is terrible. While it latches firmly which is nice it runs into problems with CPU coolers, especially the offset Liquid Freezer 3. I had it mounted and then couldn't open the latch. Also there is so many screws to get to the other m.2 slots.. just seems outdated.

So many good things I can say about this motherboard. It's fantastic plug and play works right away. Only thing I had to do is update my chips at drivers and bam. I'm off to the races for an A. M5 platform ASUS runs the game in anything and everything. Gaming and computing wise. Absolutely. Love all aces products. I've had a b550, and now this motherboard and it is a beast R GB if you like your lights plus it has 3 or 4 if I recall MB ME drive. Slots, so you'll never run out of storage.

Not a bad mobo to start a AM5 build, also very beautiful of a board. Updating drivers took ages ans still havent figured out the color control yet but its amazing! Sometimes the mobo will swap to choosing my wifi even when i have the wired connection active but thats an easy fix!
