I have a VW Beetle Convertible and it was difficult to see behind me when I was backing up. The camera resolved the issue. I was concerned that the installation might look "tacky" but it did not. The installer seemed to very knowledgeable and friendly. It works like is supposed to work and I am very satisfied with the installation.

Team did a great job of installation. Would definitely use them again.

I bought an entire radio, and installations the day after Christmas. I was clear multiple times that the back up camera would need to be installed. I had to wait for the faceplate to deliver, so I had to wait until mid January for installation. I was the initially the only person signed up for installation at the Sarasota University Town Center facility. I showed up before 10am. He opened the door on time. He brought up my account and went to look at my car. He came back in and said that he would not be able to install my back up camera that day. He recommended that I book time for the entire install, which would require waiting another 2 weeks. He said I could get the radio installed, but it would be incomplete because not enough time was booked and other customers could not be kept waiting. I asked to speak to the manager and nothing changed. 25 minutes was wasted standing around discussing it. In order to get the installation done sooner, I set the install up with Best Buy in Sarasota on Tamiami Trail. I was furious with Best Buy. My installation should have been done completely that day. I should not have been punished for Best Buy's incompetence in process. If a customer is clear on what will be needed then this is what should be scheduled. If it takes less time, then it takes less time. I almost canceled the installation completely, considered returning the radio, and all the parts, and moving everything to a local company. If I had to wait for the 2 weeks that Sarasota University Town Center would have taken, I would have canceled. Instead I drove further out of my way the following Saturday. I gave up another Saturday. And it was worth my time. Sergio at the Sarasota Tamiami Trail facility treated me like a valued customer. He made all the difference. He stayed late to finish my job, still ran into issues with the back up camera. He sold me a new camera at a discount and set up the additional installation. He spent time, taking me through the use of the new radio. I had to come back to have the back up camera completed, but because he treated me well, I didn't mind. He treated me with respect unlike the installer and manager at the University Town Center facility. Best Buy has to learn how to sell their installation services correctly. The customer needs to be treated with respect and our time should not be wasted. I've been too good a customer of Best Buy to be treated the way I was. Sergio is the man who saved my business for Best Buy. I will no longer go to the University Town Center facility.

This review is long overdue. In June 2022 I had a pioneer double din display unit with microphone, steering wheel controls and backup camera installed at the Best Buy in Sterling, VA on my son's old Honda 2000 by a smart and kind technician named Matt. I don't know if Matt is still there, but I want to have him recognized for the excellent service he provided me. Matt said since it was very hot outside and stores weren't open yet, that I could stay in the car bay. He provided me a chair to sit. I watched Matt work non-stop during the entire two hours of the scheduled installation service to get all 3 purchased items installed. He said usually they reserve 2 slots for all 3 items. I was very impressed with all of Matt's professional skills. Especially fishing the wires for the backup camera and the microphone installation. I really hope that customers realize that these technicians don't make nearly what they deserve with the highly technical skills and knowledge required to do these types of installations. Best buy is lucky to have a very highly skilled technician like Matt in their geek squad unit.

Pat and his crew did a great job with the installation and they were excellent in explaining the features of the items I purchased. They exhibited a great amount of patience and knowledge answering my questions. Kudos to the whole crews

We received excellent service from the Beat Buy in Allen, TX to install this. The technician was clearly an expert, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Our appointment time was spot on and he delivered well within the timeframe he set as an expectation.

The installer did a great job with installing a new head unit, amplifier, and subwoofer, along with all new speakers and a bass remote. He also installed the back up camara that came free with the purchase of the head unit. What i was surprised to find out is that the Only installation that was included was the head unit. EVERYTHING else was not included and ended up paying a lot extra for the full installion. I think the installer was good at his job and payed attention to detail. No complaints there at all. His name is Austin and works at the Centennial, Colorado Best Buy location. Over all, im satisfied with the products that were installed on my vehicle and im enjoying it. I dont think i will ever have Best Buy Install again as I dont like all the hidden items you need and extra cost that I wasnt prepared for. Next time I will install it myself or have a different professional installation done.

The guys at best buy were amazing, they got the camera installed and I had no issues. They made getting it installed so much easier for me and I'm very grateful.

Got a backup camera installed for my daughter’s car. They did a great job and the tech was excellent in explaining the features and answering any questions we had. Great job.

Looks great and eliminates the need for a separate bolt on camera, you really don't notice there is camera. The video is clear and the width of view is good but not excellent. The camera swivels up or down to adjust how close you want to see behind the car, I adjusted it so as to see anything within 1 ft of my rear end. The built-in back-up LED lights do a very good job in the dark. The auto turning lines really don't coincide with the amount of steering wheel turns but you can turn them off and just look at the field of view which is good. I like this much better than bolting on a separate camera and the chrome license plate itself is of good quality and heavy duty metal.

The Geek Squad have install two dashcam alrady and they've done a very good job.

Best Buy installed a stereo and rear view camera on my 2009 Nissan Rogue. Due the car's age, I had to replace a piece of the dashboard during the installation, which the technicians handled no problem. Every thing has worked fine since then, and I'm happy with their work

The Geek Squad man installed a back up camera and a backup camera ready radio. He instructed me in how to use the new system.

Great job on backup camera being installed...not happy with installing of a returned radio I purchased "excellent " condition uet had a crack in face and still installed...shiuld have NEVER been installed...follow up with rxh very unprofessional...highly disappointed.

Purchased and had a mirror mounted back up camera for our granddaughter’s car. Installation was perfect and customer service was professional and great to work with. This gave us piece of mind and one happy and safe granddaughter!
