    I would never purchase an electronic device without Totaltech! I already had to bring my laptop in within one month of purchase as my OneDrive mysteriously disappeared. The Geek fixed the issue in a quick and professional manner. Basically, that service appointment paid for the cost of the Totaltech. Now, all the other appointments I will make will, in essence, be "free." And, I will be making additional appointments to get tech support because I am not a tech person.

    This membership is one of few that actually more than paid for itself. I bought it with a laptop purchase last year. This year, all of my daughter’s kitchen appliances quit. I saved on haul away fees and installs. I had bought an Apple Watch from Apple but saved the cost of 2-year Apple care by returning it and re-buying at Best Buy. Additionally, they were able to resurrect my old desktop computer and install a new hard drive for just the cost of parts and everything was backed up with no loss of data.

    Please note: Please don't be confused when you notice that I selected "YES" under "Would you recommend this membership to a friend?" This is because since I have yet to take advantage of the Totaltech coverage, it would be unfair to select "NO". But the reason I purchased the coverage is because of the following... I had to replace my laptop 6 months after purchase. However, once my laptop was replaced, Best Buy canceled my 3 year plan, So, instead of honoring the remaining 2 1/2 years by applying it to the new replacement, I would have to purchased a brand new plan if I still wanted coverage, which would now be the Totaltech plan. So, this means that if I get coverage for the new laptop, then in a 6 month span, I will have now basically purchased TWO plans for ONE laptop. This makes the Geek Squad plan worthless and costly, since the manufacturer's warranty would've covered the cost WITHOUT any additional coverage. Hopefully Best Best can make some adjustments to their replacement policy.

    I'm disappointed with a recent vaccum purchase from best buy. Realizing I was outside of my 60 day return window, I contacted Best Buy Total Rewards program via chat and phone to inquire on my options. Hoping there was flexibility in honoring a return outside of 60 days. Even if just for in store credit... I contacted and spoke with the service line department and the gentleman that answered arrange an appointment for me to meet with geek squad at the local store. I asked what the likelihood was of the store honoring the return since it was an hour drive and the gentleman indicated that he thought an exchange for in-store credit was likely. Being considerate of my distance to travel he stated that he would also request a call back from the specific store directly so that they could answer my question before making the trip. I never did receive the call. I attempted to call the store beforehand and could never get through to speak with someone at the store. With the strong indication that this option was likely to be approved and I could return for in-store credit, I carefully packaged the item up and make the trip, since I had a scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, I made the trip and the employee that greeted me for my appointment instantly stated they could not honor a return even for in-store credit and that my only options were to ship of the machine to be worked on or else return home with it. He offered to have a manager come over and I said sure, but then when he attempted to radio someone over no one was willing to come speak to me and just relayed verbal comments to him in his earpiece telling him to repeat the same guidance because it wasn't going to change the outcome even if a store manager did come over and speak to me. So I ended up walking out of Best Buy with a vaccum I no longer want and an extremely poor customer service experience. I intend on ending my total rewards membership prior to it's auto renewal date, and I'm unlikely to be shopping for products from this store for quite some time. The poor customer service was more discouraging than this disappointing vaccum. I would recommend buyers purchase a corded vaccum.

    Macbook Repair/Screen damage

    you can't go wrong when you have Totaltech support who got your back when unexpected happens especially on the very most valuable things you purchase. Years ago I purchased a MacBook computer and months after I purchased something happened that I didn't expect to happen. When I closed my laptop I didn't see that a pen was inside and when I closed it the screen cracked/damaged. Then when I brought the unit to Bestbuy Center and after the agent process the repair order I asked how much would cost, thank goodness he said nothing $0 charge. I highly recommend buying Totaltech support on the product that is much costly to repair.

    I was very skeptical on whether or not to buy this plan. We originally thiught to not buy it because we were only purchasing a washer snd dryer. When we returned looking for a fridge and dish washer, we thiught we might want to. The gentleman that helped us eith our second purchase was able to apply the discounts to first purchase as well. We are still hesitant if this service will be worth it in the end.

    Total Tech is DEFINITELY WORTH IT! I have a problem seven months into my Samsung TV purchase and a technician is coming out free of no additional charge to check why my TV won't stream. Believe me, $200 a year is Piece of Mind! They'll deliver, set up and even mount your TV with this membership as long as your membership is active. You can schedule in home consultation and visits without dealing with the manufacturer. BELIEVE ME. YOU DONT WANT TO DEAL WITH SAMSUNG DIRECTLY. THEY"LL SELL YOU STUFF YOU DON"T WANT AND GIVE YOU BAD SERVICE AND DEFECTIVE ITEMS! Go with Best Buy Total Tech, especially if you have a Best Buy store near you like me!

    When I have a problem with one of my gadgets I usually bring it to them to fix it I did bring my computer there one time it was brand new not even the box was open and they did happen to fill it away on me and it was papers inside when I told them not to that I wanted them but they threw it away it would be nice if it was a little bit cheaper maybe $149 would be good

    This membership is fantastic , they provide amazing service and support to their members. •Provides private deals only for members •Save you a ton of money and time •offers to bring the service to your home •product has a faulty part, they’ll replace for free •makes sure they repair your product before handing it back •24/7 service •Extremely respectful and professional •And much more, these are just some of the things I have experienced since I’ve opened my membership 2 years ago.     Total tech is one of those things you think you dont need till you do and im pleased to say im glad i paid the extra and got it for both of my big purchases, cell phone and computer. My cell phone got a cracked screen i made an appointment and it was hassle free i got my screen replaced that was about a yr ago and zero problems you cant even tell.

    I have had the opportunity to use this service in the past was very rewarding. It saves time of having to drive to the nearest store. it also saved on gas as well. my problem was taken care of. The wait time was long but eventually, after talking to 3 different agents on chat I was able to resolve the problem. I also got excellent help from members in the store.

    My computer was out of warranty and behaving erratically. When I went to Best Buy to get it looked at they told me about totaltech's features which actually has helped save me money in the long run. Now I can bring in my other computer if need be, and get service for my other electronics without worrying about paying excessive diagnostic fees. Add that the team at my Best Buy's location are incredibly personable, super helpful and very nice and what more can one ask for? They went above and beyond to help me and by introducing me to this service, they made what would have been an agonizing issue less so.

    For the price, if you shop enough at Best Buy this is worth its weight in gold. Special deals are routinely offered, free shipping on most items or expedited and 60 day return policy versus the standard 15. Do the math and depending on your shopping patterns, if Best Buy is a semi regular stop for you, you might find this tier works out perfectly to save money, get your products to you faster and/or for free and discount deals on many items.
