    Great Value and Peace of Mind

    This Membership has been a really good investment. I bought a Computer and Monitor that worked very well, but he liked his old computer better. A Tech Expert got his old computer to work with Windows 11 so I needed to return the computer and monitor. Thanks to the Membership allowing 60 days for returns, I was able to get me money back. I am hoping to start working on getting a new computer for my Mom who has a very old Compaq Laptop. Thank you for saving me and my Family money this year, E.D. Flood

    Signed up for the Geek Squad based on a recommendation from my cousin, and she was 100% correct despite being on the other side of the country. It's a bargain and service was fast to do a data transfer to my new desktop and do some work on an older laptop. Love being able to call with questions anytime on the 888#, and calls are answered right away. The ESL speakers need to be reminded to speak slowly, though.

    I was very satisfied with my Total Tech membership. I thought is was a good thing to have when problems arise. Now I am not so sure. I was able to bring my laptop in to the GEEK SQUAD and they would help or fix the problem. Now my new laptop has only a 2 year free service and then there is a monthly charge. The Total membership seem to go up and the services that were included now have to be paid for. On the reccomendation of recommending Total memebership there should be a MAYBE to check off.

    I’m really happy I joined Total Tech. The biggest benefit for me has been the support and convenience—being able to get help quickly without jumping through hoops. I’ve used it for troubleshooting and setup, and the Geek Squad staff were patient, knowledgeable, and respectful in my home. The member deals also helped offset the cost of the plan. Overall it’s been a great experience and I’d recommend it, especially if you’re buying TVs, laptops, appliances, or smart home stuff.

    I love Best Buy! They have an awesome Geek Squad that cleaned out and protects my rather old computer. The store itself is upbeat and always has a great deal! I am a senior who is fairly well educated in modern equipment however there is always something new to learn. I like that although I have relocated to another state Best Buy is still the same. I have been a Best Buy fan for quite awhile!

    If you’re someone who buys multiple devices or electronics/appliances in a year, or you own expensive tech items that you want protected — My Best Buy Total is definitely worth it. It gives a nice balance of convenience (shipping, deals), protection (warranty & repair discounts), and support (tech help) that offers real value over time. If, on the other hand, you’re a casual shopper (buying once in a blue moon), then the membership might feel like overkill — in that case, consider buying protection on a per-item basis instead. Overall: 9 / 10 — high cost but high value for the right kind of shopper.

    My husband and I bought a new house last year and we needed new appliances. I purchased a refrigerator and a washer/dryer set. The Best Buy rep suggested the membership and explained the price match guarantee, especially since Black Friday would fall in the 60-day time. We were able to quickly and easily get the new sale price difference on all three items. Our particular refrigerator went to an additional sales promotion during the time, and they did the adjustment again. I am now remodeling my kitchen and purchasing more appliances and watching for price differences again.

    IO purchased a new phone and a new laptop. The phone swap went reasonably well, although it took almost five hours to transfer 250 GB of data from the old phone to the new phone. The laptop swap hasn't gone as well. All the files were transferred, but the way my Outlook .pst files were attaqched to the new Outlook didn't work. It appears that the files were attached to a different "account".

    I signed up for Best Buy’s total yearly membership, and it’s been a great decision. The membership offers nice discounts and perks that make shopping for electronics much easier and often more affordable. I appreciate the priority customer support — whenever I had questions or needed help with a purchase, their reps were prompt, helpful, and professional.     I love it when I purchase something that presents itself as money-saving and convenient, and turns out to be exactly as presented. This membership saves me from sitting in front of family members' computers, over my head in software, and picking at random things hoping they will turn out to fix the problem at hand. I just take the item I'm struggling with to the Geek Squad, and they fix it. My only complaint is they are so pressured for time because this service is so popular, that they don't get to thoroughly explain what they've done.

    I bought this plan after I already purchased a television that I had somewhat immediate issues with. This was an ongoing project and the installation took me past my return period on the television I purchased without total membership, and that's when I started finding issues with my purchase of the television. I wish I had gotten this ahead of time. Even though I haven't had personal experience from a total membership product warranty/replacemen yet, however I just wish I had local support from TOTAL rather than the dead ends I've been getting in resolving my issues with the television manufacturer.

    I've had this membership for a long time and I really do value the way that I can go to the Geek Squad with any problem I may have and it's resolved. The service I receive is outstanding and there've been time when I'd have been left in a situation wher I'd have spent a long long time without my computer if it had not been for the Geek Squad. In fact, there's been times when I'd have resorted to purchasing a new laptop because the problem was so far out of my ability to handle. Thanks Geek Squad!!

    Totaltech has my back!

    This team is the best I have ever encountered. I’ve been a Totaltech member for three years and Geek Squad for 5-years before that. I call them primarily to help me out with technical issue with either my laptop or my printer or my phone. They are polite, easy to talk with, and they in turn are easily understood making sure that you’re completely satisfied before ending the connection. We enjoyed a bonus this year when we bought a major appliance and found that because we we’re Totaltech members we enjoyed an additional discount as well as free delivery and set up & an additional year on the warranty.

    The membership was great for a new laptop I bought and switching the info on my old laptop to the new one. It did not help when I bought a Bushnell View on line and used a rewards certificate. I returned it because Bushnell came out with a new model for the same price. Best Buy refunded my money but not the rewards certificate. I was told when I returned it the reward would be added back to my account, but after a week and I called it was not. I was then told rewards are not reusable. I thought I the membership should have helped me with customer service.

    Being a Best Buy total member comes with a lot of perks. I purchase a lot of items from Best Buy for that purpose alone because I am paying for a service. I do wish the cost was a little less pricey, but it still protects me for 2 years on all the products that I purchase. and I have used the geek squad a few times so that’s been great.

    It is expensive and it renews yearly. If you cancel it, you also cancel ANY protections that you got while you were a member. Even if it was a 2-year protection, since it was paid for via the membership (for "Free") cancelling the membership cancels these protections as well. If you shop at Best Buy frequently enough and take advantage of the protections, then I'd say it's worth it. Otherwise, I would pass on it.

    Disappointed with the delivery system.

    The Geek squad is great. But there is a disconnection with the delivery team. I recently had a problem. I had two conflicting texts. One said “delivery around 12:27 PM and a second one “delivery between 8:30 AM-12:30 PM. The first message was received 4 days in advance and the second the day before. This conflicting information resulted in the part not being delivered because I had a Doctors appointment that I could have cancel or change but didn’t because the first text gave enough time to be back home on time for the delivery. The second text one was to late to do something about it and two it was too late to change my Doctors appointment, end result no delivery on the scheduled day. The delivery person on the phone couldn’t or didn’t want to accommodate a different time later that day. Is hard for me to understand why he couldn’t shift my delivery for another and still be able to do mine. He was very cut and dry talking to me. He didn’t express any concerns about delivering my item the same day. He just simply said “no I can’t do it today it has to be another day. Bottom line I am not happy with Best Buy delivery system and the communication between one end and the other (csr service). On the other end I am happy with my TV. It has a beautiful sound and screen. The Bose sound bar was doing awesome until it stopped working. I hope the next one doesn’t have the same problem.

    When my over the range microwave appliance broke, I thought I would be in for weeks of phone calls and headaches. Instead, my Best Buy membership made the entire process simple from start to finish. I reached out, and it was easy to get through to support without waiting forever. They accepted the appliance right away, tried to repair it, and kept me updated the whole time. When they determined it could not be fixed, they credited me instead, no arguments and no red tape. That experience alone showed me the real value of my membership. Add to that the everyday perks like free two day shipping, extended returns, exclusive member pricing, and access to Geek Squad for tech help, and it feels like Best Buy is always one step ahead in making sure I am taken care of. What could have been a stressful, costly problem turned into a smooth solution, and that peace of mind is why this membership is worth every penny.

    As I am not a "techie" it was great to have delivery and installation which included a 2nd visit due to sound issues and both techs were knowledgeable and helped me with working with the equipment . FYI: Before paying to have them dispose of old equipment for a fee, check with your local trash service - it may be a free service.
