    I recently had an issue with my Alienware gaming laptop and brought it to Best Buy for service. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. The Geek Squad team quickly diagnosed the problem, explained the solution in a clear way, and handled everything with professionalism. Gaming laptops like Alienware are powerful but can be tricky to fix, and I was impressed with how knowledgeable and efficient the staff were. Not only did they get my laptop running smoothly again, but they also gave me helpful tips to keep it performing at its best. In my opinion, Best Buy is the most reliable service for tech support and repairs. They’ve earned my trust, and I won’t hesitate to return if I ever need help again.

    I purchased the membership for my new Apple iPad because I do not like Apple Stores or their customer service policies. I was very happy with the technician who helped me set up my iPad. He set it up exactly how I wanted it instead of how Apple wanted it and it was so easy and took way less time. I know it will be just as easy to make another appointment should I need help again.

    This membership is amazing. It is an additional price, but once you have it, it's so helpful and reassuring to know that you have systems to back you up if your device malfunctions or you just want some guidance. So far, I've utilized my membership advantages once when my laptop display was messed up, and it went so smoothly. I plan to use it again if I ever need to! Definitely recommend it to anyone considering getting it.

    They fixed my computer when no one else could

    I had no idea how great this membership is until I needed it. I use my computer for my internet business and can't work without it. I had my C: ssd drive fail. Two of my friends who are IT professionals said they could replace the drive but told me there was no way to get an image of the drive that would save me hours of work. I would need to start all over again. I took it to Best Buy and they thought at first it might not be possible to get an image, but one of their techs said he'd try an idea he was working on to capture drive images. They were able to image the drive and fixed my computer! This saved my business. If you don't have a membership GET ONE. You'll be happy you did.

    My husband and l love our Best Buy/Geek Squad membership. We don’t ever want to be without it again. We had to cancel our membership a few years ago due to a financial hardship. Thankfully, we have it back again and are so grateful that we do. The Geek Squad installed everything we need on our new laptop, and they are so patient with older people like ourselves (78 years old).

    The membership pays for itself over time. If you buy a lot of electronics, computers, etc. you should have this plan. On numerous occasions I've had to use them for computer upgrades, which were free, or mounting a TV and a ton of other things. If you do installs for your vehicle, it all plays a part. Plus, you get more time to return an item then if you're NOT a member.

    I never always buy at Best Buy Port Arthur, so that I can get the Geek Squad help if I need it. I forgot to do this review at the time, but now that I just bought a new (expensive) laptop, I want to share my experience about why buying Total Tech is the smartest move you will ever make. Update to a recent purchase and why I highly recommend Total Tech: My new laptop, a Lenovo Legion Pro 5i, rates an A+, but it would not have without the Geek Squad, which was amazing! I cannot praise them enough for getting me through a difficult setup. Microsoft is being so intrusive now days that the average person is at their mercy to setup a device in a way that is acceptable and which successfully minimizes Microsoft's outrageously aggressive promotion of their products. Truly, as far as I am concerned, my Total Tech cost paid for itself with this one purchase because I more than likely would have returned this $2,000 laptop (hey, don't judge, it was the only model with the ports I needed) if it had not been for the professionalism, friendliness, knowledge, and patience of Jacob (Geek Squad Tech), Emily (Geek Squad Manager), and Michael (the employee who set me up with Jacob). They were all beyond amazing. I am a granny who has had a horrible few years (lost my husband after a horrendous 5 year struggle with aggressive dementia), and I struggle to cope with any stress these days. The Geek Squad employees at Port Arthur, Texas, just did everything they could to minimize my stress. I just cannot tell you how much I appreciated them. So, yes, the Lenovo Legion gets 5 stars, but it was because the Geek Squad gets 10. I HIGHLY recommend the Port Arthur Geek Squad and Best Buy Port Arthur, and, now that they did their magic to configure and customize my laptop, I am thrilled with it as well. Truly, getting Total Tech (for several years now, even while struggling to stay in my home while my husband was ill) was one of the best decisions I EVER made! Thank you, Jacob, Emily, Michael, Total Tech, and Best Buy PA!

    Overall, though expensive, it's a pretty good system, The only gripe I have is that I wish it could have included the full price of level 2 data recovery. $360.00 on a fixed social security income is a huge expense for us. I was told when I first started this that it would cover ALL LABOR. Apparently that is not the case. I would still recommend it with the caveat that it only covers certain labor on certain things.

    Honestly was skeptical at first but we’ve been members for about 3 years now and it’s definitely worth it, especially if you’re a new home owner buying your first or new appliances. The deals we’ve gotten on appliances and tech around the house has paid for the membership alone. The extra 2 year warranty you get as well is too good not to subscribe

    Best Buy use to have an insurance plan through geek squad, that was based on a percentage of the price, but with the Total membership, you pay for a full year of coverage on all products; also comes with various deals on products that are on sale, only to members. Apple items get the most love, because you get AppleCare on any devices you purchase. Instead of waiting to go through apple themselves, you simply bring it to best buy and they do the rest. Best way to say that Total is worth it, it’s the “Bestbuy” when it comes to shopping at bestbuy.

    This membership is the pinnacle. I rest assured that if anything is ever dynamically uncontrolled with my computer, I can take it in to the Geek Squad and they are fast to fix the issues in the most professional manner. They are very knowledgable and explain what the issues are so that I understand. And with all of the value you have with this card, my total buying experience at Best Buy is superb!

    The My Best Buy Total membership has been absolutely worth it for me. I have two tablets and a laptop under my plan, and paying about $180 a year gives me real peace of mind. When I broke my laptop, Geek Squad repaired it with no extra cost, saving me money and stress. I love knowing my devices are protected, and the customer support has always been fast and helpful.     Worth every penny. I broke my laptop, and the protection plan allowed to tobfully replace it with a brand new one. As far a device protection and service benefits go, this is a great service. My only negative is that the premium deals aren't very good (10$-20$ off expensive product). I barely notice a different in price compared to non "total-plus member" deals.

    the Geek squad members are very friendly and know more about computer's than I do. but their fix was trial and error. the price. Sold me a new Wifi. but that was not the fix. I like the membership, but the service fee did not seem fair or just. I was fine with the crew, however not the policy they must follow.

    This is a first for me, I've never needed help with one of my devices but I finally reached the push point. After speaking with one of the service technicians I made the decision to purchase the service plan on a yearly basis. All my questions were answered and everything I thought was important plus many other items the techs suggested made this purchase well worth my time and money. The guys in Logan were super helpful and listened to my issues and solved my problems.
