No review of a laser color printer is going to be perfect. But, this exceeded my expectations. Super easy set-up, printing like a dream, and doesn't take up too much space. I've scanned a zillion things with it so far, and it's working fine. The only thing is that it's nearly impossible to figure out how to do double-sided scanning using the feeder (not manually flipping it over) without going into some original settings function. And it's freaked me out a couple of times when it seems to randomly turn out for what I think is self-cleaning. Very easy to set up on my home network through my router. I didn't even use the set up CD (don't have a player on my laptop), but seemingly didn't need to. Great printer, especially one that has double-sided printed capability!

It's a great fast printer. The colour is vibrant and it's not that loud. I am however, experiencing issues when I am pringing USPS labels. Everything fuses fine on the paper, but parts of the barcode area smears.

This printer is super easy to install and prints beautifully from my desktop, laptop and phone. Its ability to connect using Ethernet or wifi is a plus and the Preinstalled toner cartilages last forever. Beware the replacement cartridges though, they're expensive.

Easy to set up and great quality so far (have had for about 4 months now). The auto-duplex printing is fantastic. I highly recommend the printer. The only negative is that the paper tray hold about 1/3 of a ream.

I bought this device to primarily print black and white documents and occasional colored pictures for kids projects. The device is a little bulkier than I expected but the print quality is awesome. It was easy to setup after I downloaded the drivers for my MAC.

I have had a number of Canon printers over the years but this is my first of their laser class printers. The first thing that you have to accept is that it does take up a bit more space than your ink-based printer but the quality and speed are well worth it.

Printer is fabulous. Quality, Double Sided and Speed are amazing. The scanner is so much faster than my last scanner. It's really an awesome powerhouse. I had problems with the scanner software and had to call Canon - which was great - they are based in USA, answered right away and solved my issues. I have some issues with wifi connectivity but i'm not an IT expert so who knows what that really is. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS to small business or home use. Very pleased.

This has been a great addition to the home. It is much cheaper than using inkjet printers.

An affordable all-in-one laser printer that just works. No more dried up ink cartridges. Easy enough to set up and doesn't take a whole lot of room (for a laser printer anyways). Print quality is better than expected, not quite ink quality, but good for a laser printer.

This is my second purchase of this printer for our office. I liked and recommended it to my boss that he had me purchase one for his work station. Easy to set up, great print quality, fast and easy to use scanner. I highly recommend for the price!

when printing infrared images for clients, quality prints with vibrant colors is a must. thats what we've seen put of the canon so far. the printer itself is east to use also. but inevitably every rose does have its thorn. the toner cartridges are insanely expensive

Needed a printer for a home office and looked into an all-in-one model for a colored laser pointer. One thing I was specific about is that the model have individual toner cartridges and this model has that and dual-sided printing. It’s a bit big (50 pounds) but not surprised with wanting an all-in-one and other models I found were similar in terms of weight/dimension specs. Have no issues with it so far.

I liked this printed so far, much more smoother and faster than my old hp laser printer.

Some trouble setting up with Windows 10 not the printers fault but still. Easy to use

Having not purchased a printer in about 12 years, I was pleasantly surprised at all the new features included on this model. The setup was relatively easy, but the operation of the paper trays is rather complicated. This printer requires a separate programming for every type of printing function (I.e. paper size, paper type, the paper thickness, labels, etc. There was no operations manual enclosed with the printer. I had to call Canon support for assistance, or download and print out the entire operations manual from their website to learn these operating functions. It would have been far more efficient, and less aggravating, if a copy of the operations manual had been shipped with the printer.

Set up of printer was simple and no problems with my printer. Clear quality prints.

We bought a laser printer so that the ink would not dry up during periods of time when it is not used much. The printer produces good, sharp copies. The printer is large, but not as large as some laser printers. All in all, we are happy with this printer.

I like this printer because it prints very fast. It is better than an inkjet printer.

Printer is very slow. Please note that the wifi feature will not work if you have to log in via web browser. Colors are very nice and printer is quiet, which is a big plus. My main complaint is how slow it is, but overall a decent product for the cost.
