Too small to read. The canon company does not have software yet to support device. Can’t connect to iPad.

To be able to take macro or zoom in on objects far away I would have had to buy 2 more lenses for an additional 800-1000 dollar cost, plus the camera weighed 5 lbs which was not compatible with my needs so I returned it. I realized I
am happy with my Fuji

Some nice features, but the camera is not an improvement over the Canon 70D. Return was two days after the 15-day limit (B&H allows for 30 days). Fifteen days is hardly enough time to run a professional-grade camera through its paces while still maintaining a day job. Lost 15 percent restocking fee...nice staff was gracious enough to give us store credit, but never again if I can help it...

I’ve replaced this camera 3x now because it has just stopped working randomly. I’ve never dropped or spilled on it. Every time they make me pay for a new $300+ warranty just for it to break again. Will not purchase again

Nothing to be impressed about for the price. It should be at half price for it's functionalities. I am thinking about selling it and get something better for $1,500.

Absolute Powerhouse, A Video Revolution for DSLR

First of all I have been making short films for over 18 years now, it's a huge passion of mine. I had been using a Canon Vixia HG20 for about 7 years now and it was beyond time to upgrade. I read countless reviews, watched tons of videos online and finally decided this was the camera for me. For a lot of people like me, making the jump from a camcorder to a DSLR is a scary thing, but trust me, you won't regret it.
I do wedding videos on the side as a source of supplemental income and I thought what many of you might have, how does this thing do in the "run and gun" situations, well let me tell you, this things auto focus is the real deal. Not to mention that you can shoot in 60, 30 and 24 FPS.
For me, this camera is a true delight, not only does it deliver just amazing video quality, but you also get the amazing plus of having a professional camera as well.

Great Intermediate Camera

This is my favorite APS-C (Crop Sensor camera) to date. It's not too heavy for me and I've taken this thing on several long hikes where I'm holding it on a strap for 5+ hours.
Where this camera shines is its video quality. The auto focus is super fast and you can change the speed in the settings to "cinematic" if you want a slower more natural change in focus. If you vlog or do run and gun video the quick focus setting is amazing.
I'm very happy with the picture quality this produces. It's my main camera for photography. I've had it for a year now and I don't intend on upgrading my camera body anytime soon.

This is my first camera ever! Super excited to learn and take professional pictures soon! I am tech savvy with my iPhone and editing, but this is a whole new level of expertise. As a beginner it is a bit overwhelming to learn, but it’s super friendly and watching YouTube videos helps out a lot :)

Great camera. U wont regret!!! The lens is ideal for general purposes, but as you become more familiar with DSLRs, you can get prime lens. But i still love this 18-135mm zoom lens!

Its has improvements that make up for not having a 4k while other cameras are years ahead in 4k technology. Next year will be just an ordinary camera while Nikon, Sony, Fuji, Panasonic are years ahead and more advance in 4k. I would not hold my breath for this as I seen video samples and to me the focus lock is much slower than a video on a regular video camera but that's me how each camera can acquire quick focus to get that instant shot. Returned. Looking into the D500. At least it has 4k.

High Hopes for 80D, Now Frustrated & Disappointed

We purchased a EOS 80D as a graduation present for our son. He took it on a trip to Africa and has contacted us to report that it has locked up repeatedly. Affected functions include the shutter button and LCD screen. Drive, ISO, and AF selection have at times been inoperative. No idea whether there are design flaws, or we have received a bad copy. At this point neither answer will satisfy. Waiting to hear from Canon support. Will provide updates as available.
