I have had this camera kit for about a month. It is easy to use and takes excellent pictures. I switched from a point and shoot camera with a wide focal range. I have not had an SLR since my film days pre-2000, so I have to get use to switching lenses again. The touch screen makes it easy to adjust the settings and to see the outcome immediately on the screen. As other reviews indicated pre-purchase, the battery life is not great so an extra battery is almost essential.

Completely satisfied! This is my first ever camera and it is very user friendly, lightweight and easy to use. I am happy I choose the lens kit because it really shows you the difference in lens. Living in the rural area of the state I had to order it online with Best Buy and their shipping was incredible. I got it within two days.

Bought this for a trip but also love using it around town. Picks up amazing detail and color! Love it! Super easy to use and portable.

Great camera for a novice, the camera teaches you how to use it. Nice picture quality. The camera doesn’t connect to my devices as stemless as it did before, but once it does, downloading images is simple. It also has a small, lightweight body. Easier to carry compared to a previously owned model.

I purchased this because it is compact and lightweight. It takes really great still photos. Really great! It’s not super for catching fast action it’s too slow for anything that doesn’t hold still. I hope to add some better lenses to my collection to improve its ability even more.

I’ve had this camera for a few years as a starter camera. The M50 has given me no problems.

For a small and light camera, I was really impressed with the images I got from it.

I use this camera for taking sporting event pictures. The camera is super light and easy to use, but I wish the zoom feature was a little more crisp. If the lighting is not perfect then the pictures are average quality. Overall, if you aren’t looking to break the bank or be a professional photographer then this is a good camera

I love my camera, and it came with two different lenses in the bundle. I always use the smaller on normally. I did purchase a separate mic so the sound would be clearer.

This is my second one. I use this camera for all of my celebrity shot's for the new up and coming Cosmetology Channel. And yes that's me with Paris Hilton. The camera is great all the way around, and can do just anything.

I went from a DSLR to this mirrorless and I am happy with my decision. Being mirrorless allows this camera to be more compact and lightweight, which is nice for travelling and taking photos around my city. The touch screen is very responsive and nice for beginners who want to adjust settings in real time. What you see on the screen is what the photo will look like, which is great. If you want more control outside the automatic settings, you have the option to manually change different settings as well. The build is pretty decent, and it fits well in my hands. The touch screen feels solid and I feel confident moving it without worrying about possibly breaking it. The only downside I see so far is the battery life. You should definitely consider buying an extra battery if you go with this camera. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and you should definitely consider this if you are looking for a good entry level mirrorless camera.

I've been a Canon shooter for quite awhile, and for the past 10-15 years, I mainly used the Canon G-series point & shoots. Decided it was time to go back to ILC cameras and decided to go with the EOS M50. So far, I'm having a great time shooting with this camera rekindling my love of photography. Picture quality is superb, and being quite familiar with Canon, I've had no issues getting used to the camera. Size and weight are just right. I only wish Canon would weather-seal their lenses and cameras in this class of camera. I ended up picking up an EF 35mm f/2.0 prime lens and adapter and really like the combination.

Good product for a jumping off point. Very pleased with the quality of the pictures it takes! It was also pretty easy to get up and running.
