This printer worked perfectly out of the box. I had to download some software, which was provided on a desk. This is a black-and-white printer which saves money on cartridges. Average cost of replacement cartridge is less than $20. It does not have the capability of printing from your smart phone. Purchased this item on sale and would purchase it again.

I'm having a hard time scanning A4 legal documents - images are cut off. The product has a disclaimer on it warning us. So be warned it does not scan A4. The scanning software doesn't give a tailored or cropped image. You might have to do some editing afterwards.

I bought this for my husband’s office and his assistant loves it. It was easy to set up and they don’t too much printing - they are trying to go paperless - so this printer was perfect for them.

If I didn't have to call somebody to figure out how to use it it would be great, but I did have to call just to start printing. I'll be making a lot more calls in the near future.

I opted for a laser printer instead of an inkjet printer because I was tired of constantly buying ink cartridges for minimal printing needs. Since I don't use a printer extensively, this decision will ultimately save me more money in the long run.
