The printer fax and scan machine was so far good and reliable

Really like my Cannon printers. I object to spending $90 every 2 months for cartridges. So picked up an Epson ecotank, ET-3850 for the everyday printing and use my Cannon when I need better quality in printing pictures.

As I stated, the printer cannot print four consecutive pages of a document without stopping and displaying an error message. The printer is also RIDDLED with interlock errors which is definitely a factor in the other issue, for example the printer will tell me multiple times that the display panel is shut when its CLEARLY open. These errors cause me to stop printing to troubleshoot, reboot and reprint duplicate pages every time I use it.

I was a little reluctant on purchasing this because it was a lot smaller than the Canon printer I had before, but it actually does more and is a lot faster. i would recommend this printer and if you do a lot of printing then it will work just as good as a bigger more expensive printer. In fact, Better!

Compared to our Canon PIXMA MX870 that Canon would not service this printer is built cheaply. It's noisier, the interface was difficult to set up, you can't use the ADF to copy / scan two-sided documents and we find accessing the ink cartridges to be more risky since you lift the glass platen without any support. Plus - it will print directly from a phone and the photos continue to be excellent quality.

User friendly. Scans, prints, and copy’s are great quality.

Printer was easy to set up and works great. Wish the paper tray was a bit bigger to fit more paper though and it is a little annoying having to lift the front flap of the machine to get it to print. Otherwise, it works great and set up was a breeze.

The screen is in front unlike last one which was on top and so easy to use the scan, fax and print options.

Great performance for a medium size printer. Having independent ink cartridges improves picture colors.

Print Quality is good. Start up time is slow. I don’t care for the panel and needing to open it every time to print.

This printer works really well. However, it's confusing trying to figure out which paper feed, i.e. bottom or back you want to print from. Hence the four stars.

This Canon TR 8620a surprised me with the quality of the photos and artwork that it prints. I am an artist, and I paint art cards for the holidays each year. Each year, I get new commissions based on the beauty of these cards.

Needed this quickly and Best Buy delivered and the process was smooth.

Overall great quality. Only issue is changing cartridges but i guess thats fine when you do frequent printing.

Quality printing for what I needed. It was also easy to set up and sync.
