I reall like canon printers. Easy to set up. Like the individual ink cartridges. You are not throwing away a whole color cartridge for just one used up color.

Absolutely love it. It is the best printer I've ever had. Easy to hook up to Wi-Fi answer the phone. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone in need of a printer.

The TR8620 is a decent printer, but as a scanner, it leaves much to be desired. The scan software is a big step down from my last printer, the MX870. I won't go into much detail except to say I'm very disappointed. Essentially, if I want to control the output type instead of settling for what Canon thinks it should be, I have to scan everything as a "Photo".
- Unless you position a photo or document as instructed, it cuts off about a quarter inch.
- The "Auto Scan" will save to a PDF -- never mind what format you want.
- The "Document" scan will scan the entire platen, even for a business card.
- The "Custom Scan" is somewhat customizable. And so on.
- Saving as a TIFF results in a ghastly black-and-white blob.
There's a PDF Editor, too, but it only works with PDFs that the scanner creates.
I do recommend this product, but not if you want to do some serious scanning.
I'll be looking for a third-party software solution, and it that doesn't work, I'll look for a dedicated scanner.

Easy to use and setup but it is a bit slow. If you are only printing a small amt of pages then it works great. It has also developed some striping but it may also be due to the off brand ink I am using.

This printer is not as high quality as my previous Canon printer that was almost 10 years old. The print outs and not great for photo prints or presentation handouts. The paper trays are flemsy and gets in the way of the control panel that has to be tilted every time the paper is changed or something is printing. Very disappointed.

This is a great little home office printer. It's faster than others, has everything I need and I have never had a problem with it, since purchasing it.
