So far, so good. It replaces an HP printer that seems to go bad after one year. The Canon printer is new, so time will tell. Half the times I try to print something, though, it makes me open or close something first - it won't print with the panel closed.

Good value for the price. It isn’t as “solid” as my previous printer (also a Canon), as this one just feels a little “flimsy” when opening doors and covers, but it works fine, at a reasonable price. Also, isn’t particularly fast, but I knew that when I bought it, and it works fine for occasional home use

THIS IS THE 4 TH CANNON PRINTER.; LAST WAS A 92XX. SO FAR I LIKED IT THE BEST. FINALLY DIED AND WOULD NOT LET ME RESCUE IT. THIS IS THE SECOND 8620. THE 92XX WAS A BIT NICER, HOWEVER IT IS NOT AVAILABLE, NOR DOES IT SEEM TO HAVE A REASONABLE REPLACEMENT. THE 92XX HELD TWICE AS MUCH PAPER IN 2 DRAWERS. I DONT THINK THAT THE 8620 HAS A "BUILT" IN FAX PAGE. AND OF COURSE THE CARTRIDGES, ALTHOUGH THEY LOOK EXACTLY ALIKE AND FIT DO NOT WORK,. IF YOU START WITH THIS MACHINE AND HAVE MODERATE EXPECTATIONS YOU WILL BE HAPPY.

Good , basic printer. Works well in a home office.

Run don’t walk away from this printer ! The instructions for set up are horrible and there are all these little hidden doors that they don’t make you aware of . I had to find a tutorial on YouTube to figure out the set up . It also has five separate ink cartridges which have to be installed individually. . I’m so frustrated I haven’t even tried to print anything yet! Canon you need to do better !

The worst printer you can possibly buy. Ive had this printer for 4 years and i have gone out of my way to write this review. There are constant error code for stupid things, jams all the time, just pulled in like 10 sheets of paper at one time, changed all the ink cartridges and its skipping random parts while printing. You have to keep the screen flap open for it to print. Please do not buy this trash unless you want to lose your mind with it!

The plug falls out often, the instructions aren't that great. There's one piece I can't replace on the front. Not the best .

This is the 2nd Hp printer we have had the last one lasted for 10 years. Love the updates on this new one wouldn’t buy another brand. Hp keep up with the good work.

This is by far the worst printer I had the misfortune of buying. It's super slow, it makes a million noises for a good 30-40 seconds before it decides to print, if it prints at all because it's constantly giving paper feeding errors, ink doesn't last and in case I forgot, it's very very slow. I used Brother printers for years before buying this thing but I guess back to Brother or HP because I don't think I'll buy another Canon printer. I have not clue why this has so many good reviews.

Does what it claims- not real fast, but was not purchased for speed.

This model lasted less than 2 years, and it was difficult to set up the wifi connection with my computer AND wouldn't consistently connect after that. I often had to restart my computer to aid the connection. But the worst part was that it just died after 21 months, apparently a bad chip.

Not as fast as my old MX922, but a jolly good printer none-the-less.
