Customers frequently mention the camera's good picture quality and ease of use. Installation is generally considered straightforward, and the night vision and motion detection features perform as expected. However, some customers express concerns about the storage options, noting the need for a subscription to record video, and a few find the price to be a bit high.

This is a great little camera to keep an eye on the garage and see who is coming when the door is open. It magnetically attaches to to bottom of your garage door opener but you can also install in on a wall with the included hardware. For such a little camera the picture is amazingly crisp and clear. Very good product. Easy to install and great functionality within the MyQ app.

I recently got the myQ camera for my garage to replace a camera that was on its last legs. I already had a myQ garage door opener so I though the integration would be a great idea. It is, at least in theory. However, in execution, I have found this camera to be subpar compared to other offerings, mostly due to a very basic app. And there really is no integration, you just get the video feed through the myQ app...nothing more or less, even if you "link" your opener (which appears to do absolutely nothing). I like the ease of setup (took less than 5 minutes using prompts through the app and that included a required firmware update)) and the magnetic base which allows for placement directly on the opener or, in my case, a metal storage locker. The picture and sound quality are quite good. That's where the positives stop though. Load times through the app are insanely long, even with a strong wifi connection on both ends. After a free trial of the paid subscription service, it appears you only have access to the past three hours of activity and get no alerts. Seriously? Not even a full day? So if something happens overnight while you're asleep you will never have even a snapshot to review. If you want to set activity zones, look elsewhere. It's not even an option. Geofencing? Again, move along. Easily mute the excessive notifications? Nope. In this day and age of smart devices, these are some fairly basic features that should be included. Hopefully a future software or firmware update can enable some of these things, but I don;t expect to wait around to find out. I'm already looking for a replacement.

This is the easiest security device I have ever installed in my life. 15 minutes and I have remote access to my garage and a camera to monitor it! The device plugs in and then sticks to the garage opener with a magnet, how easy!!!! Configuration took even less time, the app works amazingly.

We wanted a garage camera to keep a watchful eye on our possessions while we are gone. This was a perfect solution as it works as a stand-alone device or in conjunction with the Chamberlain smart control.
Setup was simple and very much similar to the more popular brands of video security cams. It works with several compatible systems including Amazon, Google and more. I did encounter trouble linking the camera to my Google home system so I'll need to do more research on how to do that.
I like the small configuration of this camera. It can be unobtrusive vs some of the larger cameras on the market.
In short, this is a solid video camera and the app (so far) is pretty intuitive.

If you have the Chamberlain MyQ Garage Door control the camera is a very nice add on to enhance the whole system.
Video quality is great. Video is sharp and the lens is quite wide angle, easily covering all of my two car garage.
I initially had a few problems getting the camera set up in the MyQ app, but once the camera was setup I have had no connection problems with my home wifi. The same is true for the garage door control.
One great feature is integration with Amazon Key. This allows your local Amazon driver to open the garage door for delivery packages. Some might question the wisdom of allowing a stranger into the garage, but if you are worried about packages being stolen from your doorstep Amazon Key is a good solution. So the integration of the Chamberlain camera and garage door opening provides peace of mind.
The one thing I don't like is the subscription model for saving and recording motion detected videos. You have to subscribe to a cloud service for that. It would be nice if there was an option to manually record video at the press of a button but there isn't. You can take a still picture that will save to your phone, but not video.

There is a little setup time for the internet hub but once you install that and get it operating, adding the camera was very easy to do. This camera is very clear and the recorded events is perfect. The two way also works if you need to talk to someone in the garage. The base is magnetic and it was very easy to find a place to mount this. I wanted a camera in my garage and this unit worked out well.

Simple and easy to set up. Angle of camera is wide enough to cover a 2 car garage door. Would recommend it!
