Smells like something is burning

I don't trust it. I'm unplugging it. My other units(APC) didn't have this burning smell. I will be returning it and upgrade to the next model. I bought this unit because APC is putting out noise.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this product reviews. This is one of CyberPower Systems most popular UPS and it has a very low failure rate. Unfortunately, there are some units that have a component fail. When the components fail they can emit an odor, but by design the damage from the part expiring is self-contained. We would like to review the UPS you experienced the issue with since what you are describing is not common with the results from our quality control reviews on returns. CyberPower and Best Buy both won't replace or let me exchange. What a waste of $150 just to have a fire hazard next to my desk.
