Unit works great and protects my electronics!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this to protect my Samsung 65KS8000 TV, Sonos Sound bar, Sonos Sub, Tivo, as well as other electronics. We don't get power failures or brown outs often but if we do this protects my electronics! It is hard on electronics if the power goes out and instantly comes back on or if it flickers, this is when capacitors and other components go out in TV's and other electronics. Well worth the investment to protect $3.500 in electronics.

Power supply replacement

Menu available on the front screen of the unit for personal adjustments. Installing software is unnecessary for use if you don't want more junk on your hard drive. Multiple outlets, some spaced for the larger plugs. Faster "turn on" than the unit I replaced.

Terrible

CyberPower and Best Buy both won't replace or let me exchange. What a waste of $150 just to have a fire hazard next to my desk.

Smells like something is burning

I don't trust it. I'm unplugging it. My other units(APC) didn't have this burning smell. I will be returning it and upgrade to the next model. I bought this unit because APC is putting out noise.

Unfortunately, there are some units that have a component fail. When the components fail they can emit an odor, but by design the damage from the part expiring is self-contained.
