I have UPS Backup batteries all over the house. Everywhere there's electronic equipment there's a UPS. I have three (3) in my home office and needed one more. I'm not too particular on brand as I am on quality. I'd never heard of CyberPower, so when I noticed how reasonablly priced they are I had to do my research. I read a ton of reviews from Best Buy and the OEM in addition to the runtimes. So, I decided to take the leap of faith and go with an "unknown" brand.
About two weeks after purchase we had some pretty bad weather and my power was flickering and later went out. I'm happy to report, this battery held up and I was able to continue to work without any interruptions. The lights were back on in less than 15 minutes and it continued to power my work laptop/docking station and three (3) monitors.
The runtimes listed on the box are just an estimate. Depending on how you use your battery will determine how long it will last when truly needed.

We bought this to ensure we were prepared for outages during storms However, its kind of like when your car is acting up and you go to mechanic, but it acts like the perfect child. Since the purchase, we have had numerous thunderstorms, but nothing that has knocked the power out. Go figure. At any rate, seems to be a good unit.

The compact back-up system fits perfectly on my desk behind the monitor as well as providing enough outlets to power the flatbed scanner, laptop large monitor, controller, and WIFI system. I'm hoping the new system works as well as my previous back-up system that ran trouble-free for 28 years. CyberPower made the old and new systems.

Bought this due to recent short power outages. Wife works at home and when the power goes out for a minute or two all work is lost. This has saved her several times already. I am very pleased with its performance. Highly recommend this is you have delicate computer information and do not want it lost. Great product!

This is a decent UPS. Everything functions as planned, but there is a terrible beeping sound that never stops. The beeps are every 45 seconds and for the entirety of the power outtage. My wife and I purchased this for a daily power cutoff to keep our router on to work for 2 hours. The beeping sound drives us crazy but the UPS does serve its function. There should be an option to mute the beep. My guess is I need to open it up and remove the beeping sound for our own sanity. May be an opportunity for an instructional video. I don't need the UPS to tell me that the power went out. I need the UPS as a battery to keep my devices online.

I have multiple of these CyberPower units servicing various things all around my house... TVs, set top boxes, computers, wireless routers... they are reliable, last quite a while when there is no power, and only have to be replaced every so many years. If you have electronics that you'd like to protect from storms, or if you just have set-top boxes you'd like to keep from lengthy reboots following an unexpected power interruption, this is the UPS for you.

Using this in a church up front on the stage area to power a Netgear 12 port multi-gig PoE switch and a wireless router. Got it mainly for the switch because it can take 2 to 3 minutes to re-initialize from a power fail or glitch. Since we live stream services I did not want a prolonged interruption in case of a minor power issue. All the other network gear including our cameras are PoE so the Battery Backup unit keeps them all running.
Size is nice and compact for a 450VA backup. Working great with no issues.

I bought this to protect my computer from all the many times Orange and Rockland Electric Company power goes out and comes back on. You would think with the HIGH PRICES they charge they would be doing a better job than what they do.

Excellent Purchase! We had a power surge not too long ago that zapped our computer...learned an expensive lesson! Well that will not happen again! This back-up system/surge protector will definitely protect our new computer system! If the power goes out, anything plugged in will maintain power for hours! It is somewhat bigger than most surge protectors but you have to remember that there is a battery inside! And, if for some odd reason this device fails, you have an "insurance policy" built it to cover any damages caused!

I'm giving it excellent because I can't really knock it since the power hasn't gone out and I haven't experienced it's backup power. What I can say is that it's a little heavy and bulky. It's a good size to hide inside the TV cabinet. I have the modem, router, TV, cable box and two other things plugged in. They work. There is an alarm feature that is easy to deactivate. I just feel at ease knowing that if the power goes out it won't be taking down all the vital devices immediately with it.

Great value, considering the sale price I got this was more power compared to others. I know they are careful about promising how much standby power time you get, but mine is powering JUST a wi-fi router and mesh network hub and I get nearly two hours out of it. Takes about 8 hours to fully recharge. We get winds that knock our power for only seconds or minutes, but this keeps things up and running!

The unit was easy to set up. I haven't had an event to test it.
The arrangement of outlets is good for a variety of power supplies (bricks). The small physical size was important to me but I recognize that 450 VA limits what I can keep working during long outages.
I'm using it to ensure my cable modem, phone circuits, and portable phone/answering machine stay on in power failures. I'm not sure how long it would support my computers and monitor so I'll only plug them in when necessary.

Nice back up battery, I plug in my desktop n monitor in the battery side n my other items in the surge protector side , gives enough time to properly shut down my PC if power outage, the battery also kicks on if power fluxes or surges so my computer doesn't go off , just needed a back up battery just long enough to turn of my PC safely .

I have always been a fan of the CyberPoer battery backups and this one doesn't disappoint. I was looking for a smaller one to go into an IT wiring panel in a home and this worked perfectly, albeit tight.
