Bought this for travel just in case there are any issues when traveling.

This young man did a great job and was extremely friendly and helpful. I feel he is a great asset to Best Buy. You should be thrilled to have him on your staff! Great job!

Good Dashcams has lot of improvements and features.

Needed a hardwire install for a dashcam. I drove a little over an hour away from Pittsburgh, to the Morgantown, WV store because the local Pittsburgh Best Buys had installs pushed over a month and a half before an appointment was available. The installers at Morgantown were excellent, friendly, and professional to work with. It's been about six months since the install and everything is still working as it should. Wires are still neatly tucked away and everything is tip top. Next time I need anything installed for my vehicle I will absolutely return to the same store. Just wish they had some kind of a waiting area, but that's my fault for driving over an hour. Just kind of bummed around the store and pretended to shop.

Was the last customer of the day for them. After they were suppose to close the auto section down. The 2 guys that installed my dash cam stayed a bit later to have it fully installed and working properly. Would recommend.

This was installed by Cory at store 1428 who I talked to and was the only one in the store that understood my problem with my camera. I had purchased a camera and parts where missing and it took 3 calls to customer service and 3 trips to the store to get them to take it back. And I find out that Best Buy was not currently selling the camera I had ordered which had already had its power cable hard wired in my car. I purchased another camera and Cory was able to squeeze me in to have it installed to all the problems I had.

Great job installing my dash cam, Got it attached just the way I was hoping for, and works well. Didn't take long at all.

Set up an appointment to have dashcam hardwired into my car, was in and out in 45 minutes. Knowledgeable and helpful installer, explained all its features and how to use, definitely recommended.

The installation service is for installing the hardware only. It's a great value for $79.99. However, it's incomplete. It does not include installing necessary Apps (there are two for Thinkware U3000), registering the device with the manufacturer (a must in case of Thinkware), making sure that the Bluetooth and WiFi connections work and the cameras (front and rear) are recording videos. I will gladly pay additional $50 for this service.

I took my Hyundai Ioniq5 to Best Buy Sharpstown, TX for dash cam installation (front and rear cameras). Cung did an excellent and professional job and finished the installation in one hour.

Good service and professionalism. Disappointed that tech could install both cameras requiring me to make another appointment for install which was 4 weeks out. Now that appointment was cancelled by Best Buy with no date in sight within 3 months of the original date my appointment was set. Long time to wait to complete install.

The agents installed my dash cam in less than an hour. Nothing was damaged and they were professional. Will return to geek squad for more installments if necessary.

Although they did a okayish job. They did not follow my directions. They put the camera on the inside of the window instead of where I said it needs to go, above the license plate. I told them and showed them the reason “I have 0% tint”. You cannot see out of it and it’s the whole purpose of the camera (It’s a real time driving front/rear view camera). The guy told me okay we can do that and that’s what I agreed on and paid for. Yet that’s not what I received. Instead I drove around with a black 400 camera screen at night and dimmed during the day. Since then I went back and whoever did it said it can’t be done after saying he can do it and coming to agreement on before signing. After this I had a real professional move the camera in the proper place, he also stated they didn’t wire it properly, but even with that the camera is sitting above the license plate OUTSIDE the vehicle, no other wiring was touched, only camera itself was moved to outside of vehicle, CLEAR vision. Where the service tech said it can’t be done….. which I have had done before on another vehicle of mines Also, they hard wired it “didn’t ask for this” but thank you, but now a year later I’m using a cord connected to the cigarette lighter because the power isn’t working from the hard wire harness… extremely disappointed in best buy service. I had bad experience before at a different store many years back but decided to try them again. HORRIBLE! Geek squad service/installation in ANY Best Buy will never see a dime from anybody that knows me.

The agent helped me tremendously. First, I purchased a dashcam that came without the hardwire kit. I would have to order the kit and that would take time and money, not to mention a reschedule for installation. The agent helped me find a dashcam that came with everything I wanted and it was a little cheaper. After installation, I had difficulties with the app. It was after his shift and he stuck around to help me. This agent went beyond to make a customer happy. He also did a professional job on the install.

The installation service was done very professionally and in good time. The process was explained and afterwards I was educated on the system and how to operate it. I highly recommend this service.

Terry was fantastic. He did an amazing job installing both a front and rear dash cam in my Audi A4 along with a hardwire kit. You can only see the wire plugging directly into the dash cam everything else is hidden and the camera works flawlessly! (turning on automatically when the car is started). So much better hardwiring than having to worry about plugging it into the port every time you want to use it.
