The Geek Squad was very accommodating when they transferred the old data from the tower to the new laptop. They went the extra mile to fix another issue at the same and didn't charge any more. Great value as it was included no charge with purchase on the weekly ad.

After I came in with the dreaded "blue screen", the squad was able to get my computer running again and managed to save 95% of my data. Perhaps I didn't understand about the lacking 5% = Favorites in Windows Edge. Otherwise, very pleased with their work.

Updated and data transfer from my old to new laptop. I dropped it off and expected it to take several days, but it was ready the next day. They took an additional hour explaining what they had done when I picked it up.

Geek Squad did an excellent job of transfering all my files,bookmarks,E mail and photos.I am not very tech savvybut when i GET home there was nothing left to do except pretty much turn it on

When purchasing an new PC to replace a failing older model, we had Geek Squad transfer critical and optional data to the new PC. We never had a worry that it would be done correctly and we were correct. Everything was transferred and our new system became a plug and play instantly. Great Job!

When I took my laptop in I wasn't sure what all I had on it and they asked if I wanted it backed up and I said yes. They charged me for the backup but when I picked it up they said I didn't need the backup and they refunded my money! Thanks for the honesty!

Guy was extremely busy with people wanting help who did not have appointments, but made sure he spent quality time with me. They transferred all data from my prior computer and showed me the new location as well as providing info about the new computer.

I had fried the mother board in my old computer. Geek Squad was able to retrieve all of my files plus all of my photos. Once restored, they transferred everything onto my new computer. It was such a relief, especially knowing I had all of my pictures back.

The Geek Squad at Best Buy has been great. I feel well cared for and they are very friendly and cordial. This visit was for having compute problems. They performed a back up on the system and had the computer back to me in 48 hours. I'm very happy with the service.

The agents were understanding of my anxiety in transferring data from my old iPad to my new Gen 5 purchase. They calmed my fears, were enormously helpful and skilled. Bravo for a job so well done!

The Geek Squad is awesome and I am so glad I renew my contract yearly. This is the second backup these guys have performed. Once you get a virus....your computer either crashes or just goes down. A backup saves everything except the virus!! Luv u guys!!

i was very apprehensive about replacing my earlier computer because of this necessary procedure but it went seamlessly. Had I known this in advance, I'd have replaced my computer much earlier.

Love the Geeks.!! Always polite & knowledgeable about what ever problem you have. Would have given 5 stars if he had not forgotten to install one item. Forgave him as it was installed later. Probably should have given 5 stars anyway.

The screen died on my old HP laptop. I was not able to access the hard drive to transfer all of my info. The Geek Squad completed the transfer quicker than I had been told so I rate them very high for the speed of getting me back up and on my computer.

I had to wait a long time, but now I am aware it is best to make an appointment. My computer crashed- hard. Computer was toast, but the Geek Squad was able to transfer everything off the hard drive onto a portable drive. They are soooo talented, helpful and friendly.

Since I'm not very tech-savvy, having the Geek Squad transfer data from my dead computer to my new one was such a great service! They Transferred data, returned the hard-drive from the old computer, then recycled the old one. Exactly what I needed!

This is a great service. I had neglected to regularly back up my data, and when my computer crashed this service saved me a lot of headaches. I am much more meticulous about backing up my data regularly now, but it's nice to know that this service is available.
